Dew Drop Inn Motel

Close to the job I was staying at. Close to food I wanted to try friendly staff. Room was kind of small and dated. But had that cozy rustic feel they tied the whole theme together with the interior of the rooms. It was nice. Hot water was quick when you turned it on. Very clean in the rooms. Had directtv with the remote so you could use the guide to find what you wanted. Not just aimlessly flipping channels like most places. Would recommend for short stays. Nice room nice staff. Just small room. But it was just me. So it was alright

The Dew Drop in was very clean and close to our destination and highly recommended. The room rate was very affordable and had everything we needed for a two night stay. We'd stay at the Dew Drop Inn again.

A nice little small town motel. It was clean and the owners are friendly. The wife makes great homemade pickles! We’ll definitely stay here at our next visit to Alpena.

Well from start to end our stay was excellent, first off the lady and man was very friendly that rented the room to us , the rooms was exceptionally clean, the price was grea, it was very quiet. And the best part is they have baseboard hot water heat no dust as my husband has bad asthma and he slept great in a dust free room if you stay here you won't be sorry.great job dew drop inn.will be back next time in town.

Very clean, suitable rates and the owner is nice and runs a tight ship. I have stayed in most all of the other motels/hotels in the Alpena area and after staying at the Dew Drop Inn my preference in the future will be to stay at the Dew Drop Inn if at all possible. 5stars along with a kudos to Doug the owner!

Dew drop inn is a very clean motel to stay in. Even the outside is clean, as we sat outside our room, no spider webs , above in the rafters or lights. We will stay here again, soon. Reasonable price for our room. Wish we would of thought of it, to leave a tip for the cleaning person. Only con and a easy fix for the owners, is a microwave in the room. There's none and we needed one to heat up our pasties from the Up. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the Dew Drop Inn this weekend for a youth softball tournament. Our room was very clean and the beds were so very comfortable. We needed more towels and the owner brought them to our room almost immediately. Staying here brought back memories when our friends the Schulke s owned the motel. Thank you to the new owners for the wonderful hospitality. Would stay again. Cindy Dolson

My wife recently stayed here. The staff was outstanding. She phoned ahead to say she would be 30 minutes late for their last checkin. They stayed late for her! And when she needed to spend an extra night, they found her a room on what is a very busy weekend in the Alpena area. The room was VERY clean. Free WiFi, DirectTV, and a mini fridge were all the amenities she needed. Overall she was very pleased with her stay. We will definitely be back when the Robotics team heads to Alpena next year.

Very small motel, but very clean. The rooms are noticeably older (older tv/showers) but very well kept. The owners obviously care about their motel. I would definitely go back.

Rooms are nice and very clean. Decor is old-fashioned and has a homey feel. Definitely recommend for an inexpensive place to stay!

What a gem. We made no plans for our anniversary and just headed up north. We ended up here. What an extra clean and cozy place. I love hot water heat and free WiFi! The owner suggested a saloon in town for steak and cocktails. Dinner was fabulous at JJS on 2nd street. Lots of history. Will definitely come back 😄

Easy access off US 23, services were excellent. Nice clean rooms. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a simple place to stay.

Consistently clean and well kept, great value for the extremely reasonable rates. The owners/management clearly care about keeping the motel nice and clean for guests.

I have stayed here for years when I go up to Alpena. Always very friendly service and the rooms are clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced.
