Nice dirt parking area. A few benches and picnic tables around. There are several trails to choose from with lots of shade and a couple of historical cemeteries. The overlook spots are rocky and steep but very cool.

Really great hidden gem of a location for a quick walk in nature. Pretty quiet with a variety of options for paths. Easy, casual with fun little surprises and history along the way.

Gorgeous little trail system with a lot of wooded views. Great to bring kids along and all the trail forks have a map at them!

People need to carry their dog poop out. There are bags available at the trailhead, and I saw a lot of full bags left at the side of the trail further in.

Great place to hike. I would reccomend waterproof shoes and big repellent for the warm seasons. I hike here year round and the trails are always a great adventure for the dog and I. Highly recommend this place as it is off the beaten path between York and South Berwick away from the crowded beaches during the summer months.

The wife and I did a 2 hr. Snowshoe walk, Great area, Just wish people with dogs would clean up after, bags are even provided, I'm sure most people do, it's those that don't

Serene pond with reflecting trees along the trail, nice place for a picnic. Cute old burial ground. Pack some bug spray in August, like most parks in the shade the mosquitoes are hunting.

Trails are well maintained and marked. Nice loop with a little bit of elevation. You can also cross the street and walk the Smelt Brook Preserve.

Lovely selection of hiking trails with terrain ranging from pastureland to New England Rock Ledges. Several old family burial grounds are also accessible.

A wonderful place for forest walk down to the York river and marsh area, or around other trails such as the one dedicated to the preservation of the New England cottontail.

beautiful spot with parking to go for a walk. not the best for a stroller, so might want to bring a carrier if you've got little ones

A wonderful spot for a walk. The unusual Cairns and family cemeteries add interest to what is otherwise just a walk in the woods.
