Rabbit River Preserve

Such a fun trail to go down, lots of birds and squirrels to look at. Couple of spots to stop and sit at to enjoy the view, as well as a few picnic tables at the beginning. Bathroom and lots of parking. There are a few different sized trails depending on how long you want to walk.

It's so beautiful..... the trees look so amazingly tall and happy and the area....would love to go back and visit again!

Awesome Park to take your dogs or children, very quiet. There is a nice loop for walking in the woods, And if your lucky you might catch a look at a bald Eagle.

Beautiful trails and scenery. Only walked half of the loops. Will be back for the other half! Lots of varieties of wild flowers and plants for identifying.

Me and the family explored this lovely hiking trail. It is a 2 mile hike but if your not able to walk 2 miles no worries you can break it up into 2 trips of a mile each. The trails are well marked and well maintained and scenic with plenty of wild life to see and a couple of overlooks too it's worth the time to check out this hidden gem. Then you can have a picnic right there at the trails cause they have picnic tables too yay.

If I had to choose only one word to describe Rabbit River Preserve, it would be PLEASANT! So lovely!

-There are about 1.5 miles of trails (a mixture of boardwalk, grass, rock, and dirt paths).
- Rustic restrooms in parking lot.
- Picnic tables quite close to parking lot.
- 2 scenic overlooks.

Rabbit River Preserve is outstanding! Owned by the Outdoor Discovery Center, who are known for their amazing trails, this preserve offers a 2 mile hike just outside the city of Hamilton. Choose between the Main Trail which leads to Rabbit River, the Forest Boardwalk loop, and the Meadow Loop, or walk all three! Me and the fam were quite surprised to see rabbits and herds of deer on the Meadow Loop and even a fox on the Main Trail! All three trails offer stunning views, but if you want to see wildlife be sure to pick a day when everyone else isn't there, because it can get quite popular!

Me and my family loved this trail it was fun to go on for those of you itching to get out of the house this place is for you it was well marked it was nice to get out of the house and enjoy nature so it's worth the drive

It's just a great place to get out there and and watch and observe nature
