Great brunch / breakfast there! The food tastes GREAT 👍 and the people working there are very friendly, polite and smiling all the time, which is awesome! Super clean, nice atmosphere. Had their hash, Benedict, grit, pancakes and avocado toast, everything tasted GREAT. Highly recommend it for brunch.

This a nice spot for brunch nestled right in birmingham. There’s plenty of natural lighting and the indoor dining is kept cool even in the warm spring/summer days. You’ll usually be able to sit immediately. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is extremely friendly.

Our food came out very quickly and was made exactly to order. We had the meat lover’s skillet and classic eggs benedict with cheesy grits. It was delicious; no complaints whatsoever. If I had to find any fault it was the house-made jam for the toast but this comes down to personal preference. Also, true to any good brunch spot you can enjoy mimosas with your meal if you choose. It’s also fairly affordable and the portion sizes will fill you up.

I’ve been going to the Pleasant Ridge location for years but I decided to stop into the Birmingham location this morning. I never have one single complaint about this restaurant. They make the most simplest breakfast foods delectable! I’ve never ran into a staff member that was not pleasant and you can tell everyone enjoys their job, for the most part. I always go early because you are going to wait if you try anytime after 10am but even still…it’s worth the wait. And get the parmesan cheese grits! I can’t get anything here without those grits on the side. No one else makes them like this. *chefs kiss*

I love to stop in here for a quick lunch between meetings. Great food, service and friendly staff! It’s no wonder the line is out the door for breakfast on the weekends, and worth it!

One of my favorite breakfast places when I’m in the area. Service is always prompt and friendly. I love the western omelette with the multigrain bread and strawberry jelly.

Waitress we had was great, atmosphere was good, and the food came out fast and was so good! The in house lemon blueberry jam was amazing. Definitely will be back.

Went for my bday breakfast with my sisters. We had to wait maybe 10mins the most it is a small place and was busy so we were okay with the wait. Idk if it’s always like that but the wait was worth it. Service was great and server was friendly. Food was great. Definitely want to go again to try the other stuff I wanted to get. Liked that there was a option to eat inside or outside.

A great job of renovating and enlarging a neighbor favorite. On addition they have added large outdoor patio. Excellent breakfast/lunch menu. Lots to choose from

They did renovations and the place looks amazing! We came with a big party and they moved tables around without hesitation. The food is always good and fresh and the coffee was great!

My wife and I ate breakfast at The Whistle Stop Diner on Eton in Birmingham on 08/23/23. I recommend "Charlie's Skillet" and my wife enjoyed two latkes with sour cream, poached eggs, ham, and apple slices. Two breakfasts with coffee was $40 plus a 20% tip. Food was really good, clean booths for seating and a nice waitress!

Remodel is complete and is awesome. Moved the counter and now offers indoor/outdoor seating, alcohol, espresso. Menu selections are simar to the old menu, so all your old favorites are still available.

Great breakfest for early and late starters. With a little mimosa twist to sparkle up a day. Egs Benedict in many variations is my go to. In the morning be ready for a little wait to get in.
