Ike's Food & Cocktails

Had a great business dinner here with colleagues. We were seated quickly, and service at the table was quick and pleasant. All three of us really enjoyed our meals. I had the Tuna Melt and it was excellent, with crisp toast (not soggy) and fresh tasting real tuna.

Also had some great cocktails & drinks, very nicely mixed dirty Martini comparable to anything I have had at 3x the cost in LA or NYC.

Nicely designed & managed restaurant, will definitely be back. Music, food, drinks and ambiance, all just wonderful. Great place.

Had an absolutely stellar birthday dinner to celebrate my 36th. Food and drinks were on point and everything was prepared to our liking. A touch on the expensive side, however, the service we received was well worth the extra dollars spent. I disagree with the reviews stating it is "casual dining", as business attire seemed to be the norm during our Monday night dinner.

I went to Ike’s for Happy Hour and I was thoroughly impressed and happy. They have a wide selection of drinks, wines, and craft beers to choose from, all $5 for Happy Hour. There were also small plate entrees for $5; I went for the quesadilla and it was superb. After finishing my dish, a waitress brought me fresh cookies that convinced me that I should have some desert as well. I got the brownie sundae and it was the perfect end to the meal. Everything cost me less than $25, which is hard to get for a nice meal. I wish Ike’s were in every state, but they give me a reason to come back to the Twin Cities!

Came here for a work event with almost 30 people and I was very impressed with the food and the service. Great drinks menu and the food was truly tasty. What impressed me most was how they served all 30 of us at the same time which is a testament to the professionalism of the kitchen and the service staff. Well done.

I took my wife there on mon September 3rd for our anniversary. I was not only 100% percent satisfied with our dinner, but the service was top notch. Our server Marianne went above and beyond our expectations! We hadn't ever met her before tonight. She was spot on with all of her suggestions. My main purpose was to make my wife happy tonight, and Marianne and Ikes played a big role in that. Thanks again for the awesome service!

Great tavern burger and staff was funny and on top of everything

Loved the food! Been meaning to try this place out for a while so glad we did! Our Server was Jenny and we will be asking for her next time, as she was excellent. Server, service, & food excellent!

Went here to celebrate finishing my PhD. I had the mushroom bisque and Andy's Kitchen burger. Both were fantastic, and my burger was cooked perfectly. Service was top notch, too. Would highly recommend.

Good food in a quiet comfortable setting. I'm 70 with hearing problems. I have trouble with the noise in most restaurants but I can participate fully in conversations at Ike's. Enjoy the Saturday brunch and their burgers. I don't drink but the people I go with like the selection of beer and the Weekender Bloody Mary.

The food was amazing! We had the wings and the pepper burger which I ordered medium rare and was actually medium rare (a hard thing to find)! Our bartenders were prompt with our drinks and friendly (especially Paige)!

The grilled cheese burgers on sourdough at Ikes are absolutely heaven! Good service, great food. Wed love to see a larger bourbon selection, but the few they have are good. Recommended!

Ike's has one of our favorite happy hours which often extends into dinner or at least more cocktails. The classic, yet updated, dinner house look and feel is relaxing and works well for both a romantic evening or a serious business meeting. The food is always great and the cocktails are even better. Sit at the bar if you are in a hurry or eating alone.

Great breakfast served in a mixed style. Ordered our entree and the meat and potatoes came family style. Got half a caramel roll for three of us to start. Yep half. They are huge!

Enticing atmosphere with music & beautiful decor. Prompt wait staff who are pleasant & knowledgable re menu options & specials. Food is of high quality & seasoned nicely. Complementary chocolate chip cookies for dessert too!

Really cool space. The food was excellent and the cost was reasonable. The waiter was exceptionally engaged and the service was quite impressive. It was quiet, which I appreciated. I am looking forward to a return visit!

My family and I were there for my birthday and we had a nice dinner, with great service. There was not too many people on a Saturday night but we liked that, we were able to take pictures and take our time. Food was very good.

I just randomly stopped in waiting for total wine to open and have a bloody Mary, to my surprise an amazing loaded Bloody Mary and Rob the bartender was spot on. He brought me the most delicious warm caramel roll !! With that and the bloody I need to cut my errands short and take a nap. I will definitely be back for the brunch!

Nice atmosphere. Delicious food. Fried walleye, ribs, and the best chili I've ever had are a few of my favorites. Great beer selection too.
