Royal Fresh Market

Had a great experience inside the store today. A beautiful lady paid for my items. However The Perch fish (I discovered) wasn't Perch at all. The batter fell off the fish and it was mushy, not flaky like normal fish. I've also had a similar experience with the cooked food. It's all farm raised fish. Don't purchase the fish raw or cooked. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible.

Before the Meijer was built on Grand River, and I had a stroke, I used to frequent Royal Fresh when it was under different management.

Recently, I found that I could actually navigate the store with my disability, and have been back a few times inn the last couple weeks! What I had forgotten until a couple weeks ago was the delicatessen I used to frequent all the time! I’m glad on days I don’t want to cook,I can grab something from the deli . I find the store to be very conveniently located in my neighborhood and I appreciate it.

Always friendly and has a great selection. For a neighborhood store I am happy they saved this market.

This store has done some major upgrades in products and equipment. Friendly folks, always clean and wide grocery selection.

I recently visited Royal Fresh Market and was thoroughly impressed. The store was immaculately organized, making it easy to find everything I needed. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the wide variety of fresh and high-quality products exceeded my expectations. It's now my go-to supermarket for an exceptional shopping experience.

I've been a faithful customer for about 7 years, and I can truly say that customer service has always been consistently great. The cashiers are knowledgeable and friendly. And the prices are unbeatable! The store is clean and always smells fresh. The meat is fresh and the price is again are the lowest in comparison to another market within 5 miles radius. However, I'll have to say in all honesty the can goods are pricy!!!. I can really appreciate the late hours. Being able to pick up quick items that I may quickly is more convenient than spending a minimum of 30 minutes in Meijer.

Great place to shop for the meats, everything else is a little pricey! But the workers are super friendly and helpful, that's why I gave them 5 stars!

Good neighborhood store nice and clean very organized excellent customer service I went to this store as a little girl I'm 30 now but anyways it used to be called Food Land before changing the name of the store still have the same concepts too nothing has changed in the store but the name

Nice place to get some unique and delicious food. For being in the inner city they carry ALOT of great brands that are usually found in higher end stores but, also at very reasonable prices

Metro Foodland as always you can find great bargains. Food, meats, wine. All great bargains. Cashiers fun and makes you feel welcomed. Great job Metro Foodland.

Spaghetti has me in a choke hold 🤤

It's a nice little grocery store, great for picking up last minute items, and not overwhelmingly large like Meijer. They have some pretty good sales, and unlike Meijer, the customer service is always consistently good. I also had tried some of their deli food at a community meeting (lemon pepper chicken wings, yellow rice, salad), and it was good! Apparently the owner gives great catering deals, especially if it's for a nonprofit or neighborhood meeting.

Some of the clientele can be ghetto, and clearly don't know how to act in a public place, but it is only a slight annoyance; it's not the store's fault. Besides, the store participates in Project Green Light, which is an added bonus for this up and coming neighborhood.

It's a convenience supermarket therefore, the goods and products are a little pricey. But the supermarket is very clean; they have fresh meats, fruits and vegetables; the staff is very friendly and helpful and most of all, they are following our governor's rules that are in place for the COVID-19 pandemic.

Love this story there deviled eggs are so so so so so GOOD AND THEY ALSO HAVE ALL THE THINGS THAT I USE LIKE CREMATES ELBOW MACARONI THAT YOU CAN'T FIND EVERYWHERE THEY HAVE BLACK EYED PEAS BY BUSH THEY HAVE A LOT OF THINGS THAT YOU CAN'T FIND IN THE BURBS GROCERY STORE
