We have hired Soderlin several times over the 20 years that we have owned our home and they have always done excellent work for us. Several years ago Soderlin replaced our boiler and we were very happy with their work. So when the time came this winter to renovate our 2nd floor bathroom and add 2nd floor laundry to our home there was only one choice in our minds as to who to hire for the plumbing work - we called Soderlin. Jeff Taylor has visited our home twice over the past few months, and has also been very responsive via text, to help us plan for and execute this large and complex project. We are otherwise completing most of the renovation work ourselves and Jeff has been invaluable in helping us with items procurement and general planning. We are very much looking forward to Jeff completing this work for us next week so we can proceed with the project. We will always call Soderlin for our plumbing needs.

Soderlin was great to work with! My calls were always answered and responded to promptly. We were able to get a plumber out quickly to make a quote and then scheduled the work only two weeks out. Everyone we worked with were curteous and respectful. We had a fairly large project and the workers were timely and efficient. They discussed what the work entailed and showed us what would get done. They cleaned up after themselves and respected our house and property. I will definitely be using Soderlin again if needed and highly recommend them.

My shower head in my 1928 Minneapolis home was leaking while my tub faucet was running for the past few months. I called Soderlin on 9/27 to diagnose and repair the issue. Their office picked up immediately and worked with my schedule to have someone arrive the next day. They sent Joel, a professional plumber with over 20 years of experience. He contacted me ahead of my appointment the morning of 9/28 and was prompt and early. He ran a few diagnostics and gave me a couple options to potentially fix the issue. He recommended the inexpensive option first which I went with. He replaced the shark bite fitting with a copper connection, and the shower head no longer leaked. The problem was due to a bad shark bite connection that was constricting the water flow and backing up to the shower head. Joel was professional, courteous, and explained the issue in easy to understand terms. Soderlin hourly rates were very reasonable, especially with their team like Joel that have decades of experience. I should have called them months ago to fix my issue. I received a 5 star service experience from them. I saved their business card for my fridge. They are my new go-to plumber for any of my plumbing needs. I just had a repair job done to a bath faucet, which cost $159 total, took less than one hour, and was done perfectly. I had previously gotten a quote from another locally owned company, who estimated it would cost $650 to fix, plus a $50 fee to pull a permit from the city to shut off the main water valve (an additional $130). I can't express how grateful I am to Jeff at Soderlin for NOT ripping me off like this other company was going to. Thank you for also being so kind and courteous. 10/10 service!!!

I called Soderlin Plumbing because they have been around South Minneapolis for years. From the first call, to problem solved, I was impressed.
The issue was, I have had such horrible water pressure going to my outside water faucet for years. My sprinkler was only able to get about 3 feet high.
Ken came over and assessed the issue within 10 minutes and recommended a solution. I agreed and he got to work. Ken was trustworthy and experienced. I am 100% pleased with the results and I no longer have sprinkler envy of my neighbors. Thank you so much Ken!

Amazing quick repair of our kitchen leak behind the wall at a fair price. Our plumber was on time and courteous. I am very happy to know this has been repaired correctly. We had a different plumber out here a couple weeks ago, obviously trying to take advantage of us, but Soderlin gave us a fair quote for the job.

Had Soderlin come out to evaluate my mini-split. The tech was extremely thoughtful in the evaluating the situation and just charged the service evaluation fee with some advice to do a simple fix. Really appreciated that he didn’t gouge me with what turned out to be a simple filter issue. 👍

The folks are Soderlin are amazing. Joel came out to check out a leak and some water pressure issues that we were having. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, laid out several options for fixes (long term vs. short term, variety of price ranges). We chose our fix and got on the schedule quickly. Joel came back and got the job done quickly and neatly. He walked us through all of the fixes and made sure everything was functioning before he left. Highly recommend this company and will be using again!

Soderlin's Jeff Johnson and Ian were awesome installing our new boiler. Their new piping is a work of art! They came early and cleaned up after themselves. Very professional. On top of that, Soderlin had the most competitive bid. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Soderlin. For several weeks our boiler kept intermittently shutting off. I called two other plumbing and heating companies and they couldn't figure out the cause. I called Soderlin and Jeff Johnson was able to diagnose the problem immediately and fix the boiler that day. It has been running great ever since. Jeff was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Had a crack in our main drain pipe, and Soderlin was able to get there the fastest, and gave a helpful estimate with all the options for what could get fixed and replaced. They were on time to do the work and we're very easy to work with.

We had a leaking water heater that needed to be replaced. We had called the original installer to fix it. We spent days trying to get them to give us a quote and install a new water heater, all the while having to mop up leaking water regularly. Exasperated that we were getting no where, I called Soderlin this morning. They sent Jeff Johnson out within the hour. He was fabulous! He discussed our options with me. Also, he took the time to get on the phone and discuss the options with my husband, who had many questions. With all questions answered, we went ahead with the new water heater, which is part of a high energy system, and not your usual water heater. By 1:00 pm we had the new water heater installed! It was incredible that: 1) Soderlin had the one we needed on hand, 2) that they could get it to us within an hour, and 3) that it could be installed immediately. Jeff was fantastic to work with - professional, personable, knowledgeable, patient with our questions and all around a great person to be working with. We are totally satisfied with the process and workmanship.

I have used Soderlin over the 20 years I have lived in my old house. They have come when I needed them and even in the middle of the night.
Jeff recently came to repair toilet tank inner workings. He also replaced a leaky faucet. He was early, worked efficiently, cleaned up after, and he was pleasant, as they always are. I am moving so I will not have them service me anymore. I will miss the great service and work that Soderlin Plumbing have provided.
