Hip Sing BBQ Restaurant

Food was delicious and came out quickly. Wanted to try their duck and got the special rice dish which included the duck, 2 different roast pork. The portion was huge and boy was it filling and delicious! The fried rice was amazing as well as the beef chow fun noodles. Even though the restaurant was mainly take out orders, there was plenty of seating available and very spacious. Service was exceptional as well and very friendly. Will definitely be stopping by for more food very soon!

I went to Sun Foods to buy some specialty foods but before we decide to eat something and stop in this joint. For my surprise this is more than the regular chinese, the rosted bbq pork was amazing. The service was good and there are plenty of choices on the menú. Next time will try the roasted duck.

I had wonderful time, the service was very kind and accommodating. The food especially the seafood was very delicious, and the whole atmosphere was homey, and inviting, and I'm an introvert. I went for the sole experience to eat in an restaurant, the place was perfect.
From what I remember of the food names, I had ordered the jellyfish appetizer which was chewy and sweet with some pickled vegetables on the side 😋. Pork and eggplant w/ garlic sauce, kinda of an oilly dish, but still delicious with the texture of the eggplant.
Lobster w/ ginger scallions my favorite of the whole meal, it was so good I don't have good words to describe it. The last dish was Crab Hong Kong style, fried crabs with the hint of spiciness, also delicious. But what sold it was the giant bowl of rice they gave me to eat with it all, it wasn't until after I was done eating that they told there was free rice refills, too bad I was already full. Btw the seafood dishs have seasonal price so they are based on the size of the lobster or crabs with their prices displayed in restaurant. This is my first review, hope this helps you.

What a Gem in the Twin cities! My family I have been going to this restaurant for the last 11 years. It is a family owned business that deserves more recognition! They always treat my family with respect each time we come. My toddler can be a bit rambunctious but they treat her like family! Their menu is impressive and well worth every penny spent. I have eaten at all of the Asian restaurants in the twin cities and this restaurant is definitely in the top 3. Thank you Hip Sing for the great food and great memories that you have helped facilitate!

Simple and delicious, best roast duck and pork in town, I drove all the way from Nebraska just to eat here.

The best red duck ever!!! Brown one is good too!!! Also the sauce in the duck is bomb. Definitely recommend this place for duck lovers.

The food at Hip Sing is so delicious! My parents and I love coming here. My mom’s favorite dish is the seafood tofu hotpot, my dad’s is the sizzling beef tenderloin, and mine is the beef chow fun with sauce. The employees are kind and helpful.

First time at Hiep Thanh and it was great! Staff were friendly and environment is clean. Waitress was attentive & fast and helpful with questions and items on the menu. I ordered Beef chow fun, half a duck, bbq pork, & pho. Let me tell ya, the pho was so good. It was earthy & herby and very aromatic, I didn't have to put much in my broth. The duck was delicious in fact I think it's one of the best ducks I've had!
They also have a small banquet room that fits 30 people for small party too. How cool is that!
I'm going to take my family there again next time.

Probably the best beef chow fun in the cities. The rest of their menu is fresh and very well-executed. Not going to play the "authentic vs. American" game, but they really do have some very good food for reasonable prices. And they're one of the only places that serves snow pea tips. They just remodeled, so the inside is spiffy, but definitely bring your 4x4 because the parking lot is ROUGH!

Food is absolutely phenomenal, and the family that runs it are the nicest people. It's truly a family affair.

Great foods, friendly owners and staff! I never thought I would eat duck; now, I highly recommend the roasted duck! Dipping in the duck sauce is a plus!

Family owned Chinese (Cantonese) restaurant with delicious food and easy to order and pickup location. We have been coming here for almost 5 years at least once a month. It feels like family and they get to know you very quickly. Their food quality and prices are reasonable.

I've been coming here for the last two years for dining in mainly. Their ducks, pork belly, and other items in deli - sell out daily & take out is always busy when I'm there. They recently updated their menu February 18th. Favorite new dish is the Golden Harvest shrimp *if you like spicy foods* Delivery option available too, which is awesome. The family that owns it, are hard working people who work every single day. Always great service :-)

The roast duck is hands down some of the best I have ever had! Beautiful food, I cannot wait to come back!

They have their own parking lot although there's a few potholes to avoid. We came for dine in eating and our food came out quickly even though other people were coming in for take out orders. The food tasted great, and this is the type of place you'd bring your Chinese grandma to.

My husband and I live within walking distance to this place. We love it!!! Good is fresh and delicious. Idk who this “mean” lady at the desk is? The service has been great and everyone has been friendly. Try this place, I’m sure you’ll love it!
