We had a phenomenal time at the Brennan Recreation Area. We visited for the Diner en Blanc 2019 event adjacent to the Brennan Pool. Hundreds of diners dressed in all white attended and brought their white table cloths, centerpieces, tables, chairs, food, friends and good vibes. There’s a medium sized parking lot nearby and plenty of street parking. No street parking after 10 pm in this area. We were there in the evening in late August and there are plenty of shade trees around and no bugs. Other times I’ve been to this area, there are great running trails nearby and if you go around dusk, you can see deer in the area.

The outdoor pool is great. The young lady that teaches the Water Aerobics class on Tuesday and Thursday is phenomenal

A great part of Rouge Park. There's plenty to do, 18 hole golf course, with a driving range, I'm watching the new tennis courts being constructed, and many are playing basketball, barbecue, walking around the track and having a great time. Unfortunately the swimming pool isn't open, but I enjoy the park!
