Nick's Coney Island

I ordered the southern omelette with fries. Everything tastes great and actually tasted fresh! This is one of the only joints I've been to where it tasted like the toast was fresh out of the toaster. The omelette and fries paired well and both were very good.

My wife ordered the bacon and eggs breakfast with fries instead of hash browns. She said everything tastes fresh and was very good.

My son ordered the kids pancake and sausage. It was pretty cool that they put whipped cream in the shape of eyes and a mouth. Most places I've been don't do something like that. He devoured the order, which is his normal routine because he loves both pancakes and sausage.

All in all, I recommend this joint! If your thinking about giving it a try or are in the area, don't hesitate to head over. I'll definitely be coming back!

Great restaurant in downtown wayne! Food is always delicious and the wait staff is attentive, and friendly.

Had their breakfast special. It was very filling and quite delicious. Coffee was the best. And the service was wonderful. We are going to be making the trip from Ypsilanti again to visit and have breakfast.

Good and plentiful breakfast. I down graded the service only because there were only 2 waitstaff. Our waitress did her best and was running around wearing herself out. There appears to be a group of regulars frequenting Nick's and no one was complaining (except me; to myself).😉

Best Fish & Chips I have had in years. Servers were friendly, courteous, and attentive. Wish I lived closer so I could stop in more often.

Best western omelet I have ever had. The coffee is perfect. The restrooms are sparkling clean, I mean really clean. Service is friendly and amazingly fast. I had a problem with my food the first time I ate here (yesterday) and decided to try them again today. The owner recognized me. He said that he saw the food that I complained about and apologized that it didn't meet my expectations. He personally prepared my breakfast this morning and it was the best ever! And all that at pre-covid prices! This place is great!

Stopped in for breakfast this morning. Everything from the food to ther service was phenomenal! I got 1/2 plate of biscuits and gravy( I'm picky when it comes to biscuits and gravy) I wish I would have gotten a full order! They were so yummy.

Lived in wayne 7 plus years and just had breakfast here. Very tasty. Good portions and best of all reasonably priced with great service. Can't wait to come again!

Nick's Coney Island is a great little restaurant tucked away off Michigan Avenue. Blink and you might miss it. Today, 08/09, was my first time visiting this restaurant. When I entered and sat down, I was immediately struck by how good the place smells. You can actually smell good food being cooked. The menu is extensive and the prices are reasonable. The servers were two of the friendliest people, who seemed to work very well together with a good comradery. The food was great and served quickly. I would highly recommend searching Nick's Coney Island out for your next meal

My hubby & I enjoy going here for breakfast. Our food is always perfect & comes out quickly. The other morning we had went here at 7am and the place was packed. The back room had at least 25 people. I asked the server if they could handle the crowd & she said they knew the night before so they had the extra cook & servers to serve them quickly. The cooks, food & servers at this place are top notch at a fabulous price. BEST breakfast in town❤

I live 22 miles away and I am doing a repair job near Nick's, I have went to this treasure many times while not working just because the food is some of the best I've had. Waitstaff is sweet and fantastic not to mention very good at their jobs. Now, the prices are great, I have been here many times and no complaints except they are not closer to my home. LET'S TALK COFFEE.... in a nutshell, DAMN! Freshly ground for every pot and so very good.

First time here before and I’ve lived in the area for many years and definitely will be my new favorite local breakfast spot food very fresh hot and staff were so friendly !!

I Love This Place! Good standard Coney Island food, large portions, Very affordable. But the Staff is the Best. Always friendly and outgoing with Great attitudes and happy to see you. And Fast service, even when very busy.

had a bit of a miscommunication problem with my order, owner fixed it and let me keep all the extra food. was a bit upset at first but they handled it very well and professional.
