Mies Park

A fine small park with several play structures. Adjacent to an elementary school (Grant). No shade by the school, but on the north side there's another playground in the shade. Beware of the mud during spring.

This is a great park. It has a lot of native Oak trees that the neighborhood was actually built around. I suspect a few of the trees in this park are over 100 years old. It is interesting too that the developers in the 1920s (old Rosedale) and in the 1950s (the State streets and new Rosedale) did not cut the trees down. Also, the park is illuminated at night. The playground equipment is new as well.

Beautiful quaint park perfect for an evening stroll. They also have a good variety of playground equipment, mature trees with open space, picnic shelter, park benches and port-a potties. Set within a quiet neighborhood, feels very safe.

Stopped here for the first time to attend a baby shower. Pavilion was good and tables were in good condition. Playground seemed very nice with lots of children running around .

Great, shaded park for the hot summer days. There are some picnic tables and benches near by to sit at. There is a smaller playscape and swings near as well for the little kids. Also has a pavilion for larger gatherings.

Love how shaded the park is as well as having a lot of trails around it. It has a gazebo area. Don't know if you can be leased out or not but it's nice to have Local for the neighborhood

My son's team uses the park as their home Tee Ball diamond. There's 1 Portapotty. There's a pavilion and a play set. And an asphalt track for walking / riding.

Nice wooded park. All of the play structures are in the shade!

Great local park! Everyone I've come across there has been very friendly over the years, and even considerate of social distancing during the COVID pandemic.

Very nice park. Lots for kids to do. Nice pavilion. We have our church picnic here every year.

Mies park is a nice little park for the kids to play. I think it could fit an easy 9 hole disc golf course working its way around the park.

Great park for kids 2 and up. Has lots of shade and picnic tables around the play area.

Nice playground, plenty of parking and lots of shade. There is even a portapotty. Very nice park!

Great paths. Lots of trees. Could use a few more garbage cans in the winter. The people are still walking their dogs

This is a fantastic, clean, and shady park. There is also a bike path. My child loves it.

Great city park. Multiple playscapes for all ages. Great place for party or just day out with the kids.

The kids love this place. Lots of large trees to provide shade over the entire park.
