Compassion truly is a fitting name for this funeral home. Bishop Ruffin took great care of my mother & allowed me the space + place to mourn as needed. I never thought I'd recommend a funeral home, but there's no where else I'd rather have went. He understands loss & handles it with care. Bless Bishop Ruffin.

This is a horrible funeral home. Ruffin is a rude individual he didn’t even want to talk with my cousin father in private who does that he wants as rude from the time we entered that horrible smell of a funeral home. We asked y his arm was hanging on the edge of the casket he begin to talk about if u want another casket give him some money, but if u do things out of your heart then please don’t mention money especially in front of his father. I think that was very disrespectful and rude. I wouldn’t ever use this funeral even if it was the last one on this earth. It still looks like a bank with the driver thru window attached to it. Do some remodeling to ur building and clean it before you start trying to throw shots @ ppl Ruffin u go urself a Bishop lol. Bishop Fake should be ur name.. Very rude disrespectful and horrible customer service... NEVER AGAIN...

It took months for me to get my Dad’s remains, we had to have a funeral without his ashes just an empty urn. I didn’t even get the Urn I picked & was told we were going to receive 3 for the inconvenience & got only 2 very little ones that I’m sure was only maybe a foot or probably not even no part of him. Months later the 3rd one was sent & only God knows what was in that one. It took 2 whole yrs for me to get my fathers death certificate. He died March 28, 2017 & I just received it yesterday April 4,2019! I got one story after another every time I called! I’m so glad I finally have it so I can be rid of them! I will never recommend business to anyone else, but I am thankful that I finally got his Death certificate!! Very unprofessional, a liar, & a snake. This is why it’s so hard to support your own kind for bs like this!

My niece couldn’t have said it any better the very words that I want to say. This funeral home it’s horrible It should not have taken that long to get my brothers remains and two years to get his death certificate my brothers body is probably in a dumpster somewhere there’s a whole lot of that going on in Detroit maybe compassion need to be investigated horrible service like my niece said. black people can’t support black owned businesses Because some of them not all of them always trying to get over on your own people
