Mount Royal Bottle Shoppe/Beer Cave

Fantastic selection, ever expansive. I just wanted two 6 packs of beer, and when I went to check out, the cashier told me they had a 12 pack of bottles that would save me like 3-4 dollars. These guys know what you are looking for even when you don't. Good recommendations if you know what you like.

This place is amazing. They have beer from all around the world (microbreweries!) along with local MN, WI, IL, ND beer and even some crowlers. Great staff and unbeatable selection.

Always a great selection of interesting beer. They even have the new wild state cider! Employees are also super knowledgable and helpful if you dont know exactly what you are looking for.

Friendly staff and great selection.... just need to see some Bacardi 8 yesr rum to make it my second home!!! LOL (low on liquor) UPDATE... Bacardi 8 year is in the shelf!!! There are 2 bottles in my cabinet! Thank you for the EXCELLENT customer service!

Best beer selection in town and a good rewards program!

There are liquor stores and then there’s Mount Royal Bottle Shoppe / Beer Cave. I just wasn’t expecting to love everything about this place. It’s an experience with an amazing selection of domestic and imported ciders, local craft brews, and awesome service. I found Aspall cider, Seattle Dry cider and dozens of other amazing dry ciders. Typically stores only offer a few skus of dry cider, if any, but this place had two end caps and multiple sections devoted to cider and I’m still reeling over how amazing the selection was.

the experience got even better when they were offering samples of Wild State cider. Will definitely go back every time I’m in Duluth. This shoppe is the standard bearer of what of liquor store OUGHT TO BE!

My go to liquor store. All local brews, with so many good too choose from, why buy national brands. Great selection of wines also. The employees are always happy to answer your questions. Try them out, you will make it a regular stop. Heck I been using it for over 30 years.

Great bottle selection, friendly staff, all around a nice experience

There's a reason why this place consistently wins "best beer store" in the Twin Ports. Ask any local, and they'll tell you to come here. The best selection in the area, with the friendliest and most helpful staff. When you're here, you're definitely going to run into brewers and beer-scene people from other places in town...so that should tell you something about this place.

After traveling across Idaho, Montana, and South Dakota we were extremely excited by the variety and prices at this store. We bought 6 bottles of liquor to last us thru the next 2 weeks. No, we don't drink too much- just the right amount

The Beer Cave!! This place has an outstanding selection of beers. I'm a big fan of sours and they had dozens I've never even heard of! They seemed to have a good selection of wine and spirits too, though I didn't really investigate. Definitely something for everyone here.

Easily the best beer selection around, found things here I've been looking for all over Wisconsin. Super helpful staff. Haven't spent much time perusing the wine or liquor selection, but they've had what I wanted a couple times. Probably not the cheapest stopping but I'd say the best.

Good selection. Staff has always been polite and helpful. Never had trouble with parking. Alternately, you can order delivery through the Drizly app and forget parking altogether.

They have the best craft beer selection in Minnesota - WOW! This place is now a MUST VISIT when going to Duluth. I probably want to keep this a secret, but....this place is awesome!

While the price is a little higher than other places, the selection is top notch. They're always getting in something new and interesting and have all the local places to boot. They've become one of my go to places!

Huge selection and great prices. They have a whole "cave" full of local and unique beers. If you are looking for something specific this is the place to go!
