Sunrise Banks - Corporate Office (Not a Branch Location)

Every experience that I've had with a Sunrise branch representative has been great, as any banking reason that I have needed to visit a branch have always been taken care of efficiently, and my conversations and interactions with the representatives have always been pleasant.

We have been banking at Sunrise Banks since they were first created; we had been at the American Bank prior to the 1990's, and were fortunate to have followed our banker from there to Sunrise. We have maintained several accounts there for decades for the business we own, and for some personal accounts too. A few years ago, someone had hacked us somehow and was in the process of transferring $90K from one of our accounts to some account in So California! A banker, that knew us personally, called me on my cell and asked if I really wanted to transfer that sum that day! It was fraud, and their personal touch saved us a fortune. Sunrise is a social benefit bank, and the best bank in the world for any small business, especially SBC's, minority owned and even our C, Sub S and LLC companies! If you want cheap, personal credit cards -- go somewhere else. This is a business bank.

Sunrise Banks bills itself as "the world's most socially responsible bank" but its headquarters shows blatant disregard for the community where it's located. The management of Sunrise fenced off and locked their giant empty parking lot to prevent people on foot in affordable and senior apartments from taking the most safe and direct passage to youth programs, schools, restaurants, and businesses. Their disdain for the community where they are located is outrageous. There's a padlock on the gate on the Sunrise side of the fence, allowing their people access to the public park.

I opened up a credit builder loan. I submitted accurate information of automatic withdrawals. The automatic withdrawal did not come out of my account nor was I notified of a late payment. Sunrise Banks is reporting a negative payment to the credit bureaus and closed the account. I contacted them several occasions and informed it was a banking error and not on my part. I reached out several times and they yet to contact me to correct the error. What was suppose to help my credit is now damaging my credit. It will take 7 or more years to remove if sunrise banks do not correct the issue

An absolute RIPOFF of a bank. These thieves siphon funds from customers accounts and pre-paid cards with all kinds of BS fees, and their customer service is atrocious. Call their number and you get a recording telling you to call back during normal business hours, and this is in the MIDDLE OF THE DAY! Leave a message, nobody calls back. Do yourself a favor and avoid these criminals like the plague.

I just want my $4.95 returned to me. I was charged because I needed a new card on account of my old one expiring. what a scam.

Like the previous reviews this bank is selling worthless Visa cards and will disconnect the phone line . Please report to The Federal Trade Commission @ftc.gov .

Got scammed on a loan. They ended up taking money from the account.

Worst customer service. On hold for hours, no one here cares about you.
