Let me start by saying that I do not generally write bad reviews for small businesses because I know that it can hurt the business. However, I've had a year to think about this and need other car enthusiasts to hear about my experience at Custom Coach Collision (CCC).

One year later, I'm still finding issues with my car that were caused by the repairs done at CCC. My car came in pretty beat up after an accident, but it was easily repairable if the proper time and care was taken. It wasn't. They cut every corner possible. I found parts under the bumper covers that were still damaged or even missing, yet priced on the estimate. My insurance company paid for parts to be replaced yet CCC decided that the parts "weren't damaged enough to be replaced". They probably didn't expect me to remove the cover, because the average consumer generally wouldn't. Every surface painted had orange peel and had to be taken back multiple times to be fixed. Internal door frame paint was not finished, it was left matte. The fenders appear to have been painted on the car. My headlights were damaged with whatever they used to sand the fender before priming it. They were too lazy to remove my headlights, instead, they just ran the sander right over the plastic and ruined them. Just recently, I discovered why my windshield looks like a foggy, water-spotty mess when its wet. They primed the fenders and it over sprayed onto my windshield because it was not covered properly. This final discovery is the reason for writing this review. They were unwilling to take the time to do it correctly, why? I have no idea...

Mechanically, the car was not working correctly either. I had to take it back multiple times to have simple issues (like tire balance) fixed. They also aligned it incorrectly and I had to pay to have that redone, AT MY EXPENSE.

Driving the car home after it was initially returned to me was an emotional experience. I took excellent care of my vehicle and it was returned to me in an unacceptable condition.

Since this repair, I've worked with my insurance company and other auto body shops to repair the mess that Custom Coach Collision created, ALL AT MY EXPENSE. I replaced the damaged parts under the hood with both my own dime and time. I wouldn't let these guys touch my lawn mower after this experience and I strongly suggest that you DO NOT bring your car here. The Honda dealership recommended CCC stating that they had their work done through them.

What hurts most about writing this review is knowing that they're all incredibly nice people. Easy to work with and understanding. But when it comes down to why I came to this business and the work they did for me, they failed me.
