We used AK&A this year for help with our personal taxes. They did great work and were very responsive. I initially talked with Craig on the phone who was very personable and helpful. Brad ended up being the CPA to actually do our taxes. Everything was done very well. I did call with a few questions regarding what we could change for the next tax year and received a prompt call back, however, I felt the information I was given wasn't all that helpful and was difficult to understand. Overall, I recommend AK&A.

I would highly recommend using AK&A for tax prep and other small business services. They're current on all the laws and regulations, they spend time getting to know you and your needs, and they're very responsive. I also think they're reasonably priced while delivering high-quality services. Speak with the owner, Craig, he's the reason I keep going back each year for tax planning and filing services.

There seems to be an issue of unresponsiveness and a lack of concern for new customers at Anderson Kuiti & Asuma. I am sure they are capable of doing good work if you have been with them long enough. But with my review and the only other from the past year having the common issue of being hard to reach, I would take that as a red flag if you're a new customer. After my first meeting they pawned the work off to another employee who required the same information once again.. so much for the first meeting. After my email being left with no response for a month in the middle of tax work I had to switch accountants, don't make the mistake of wasting your time here, they will definitely waste yours!

This firm would not receive even one star from me, but I had to give them at least one. I have a very simple tax return. Standard deduction, no itemizing. I dropped off the materials for my tax return, and this firm LOST them. I contacted them multiple times between April 4th, when I dropped off my materials, and April 18th, when taxes were due. I had NO communication from this firm other than what I initiated. The accountant didn't return phone calls or emails. She didn't even bother to call to see if I had any charitable deductions, even though there's a place for $300 in charitable contributions in the simple return...left that part blank. Long story short, I dropped off my materials on April 4th, they lost them, and would never have found them had I not kept pestering them. Miraculously, they found them after the filing date. Even so, they didn't get my taxes filed until June 15th, and only after I threatened to pull my taxes and go to another firm, despite multiple emails and calls over the two month period. And I ended up paying $158 in late fees because they LOST my stuff and didn't get my taxes filed on time. I will NEVER use this firm again.

I have spoke with Craig one of the partners about my taxes not being submitted since May of 2022, it is July 15th, I've spoken with him 6-7 times, each time he states something along the lines of "looks like we have everything from you, not sure why it hasn't been finalized let me check with who's handling it and I'll give you a call right back." Then never returns my calls. Absolutely infuriating the amount of times I've contacted them to get zero resolution as to why my taxes haven't been completed. And this isn't even my first year with them so there should be 0 surprises.

I think they are closed for business. I talked at length with Betty Eklund over the phone, then had an hour + long meeting to determine if we were a good fit. I added her to my quick books, and in another zoom meeting agreed upon a quote for services and start date. When that time rolled around I sent her an email with some information and questions with no response. A week later I followed up, no response. Over the weeks to follow, I called the front desk, no answer, no response to voicemail; Called her voicemail, no response; and a second voicemail to the front desk with no response.

Called at the end of November 2019 to get an appointment. Was told someone would call back to talk about our small business and to determine which accountant would be appropriate to work with us. Nobody called us back that week but we called on a Wednesday so it kind of made sense. Called again that following Tuesday and was told one of two accountants would definitely call back that week. Nothing. No call backs. Called one more time a (because of their great Google reviews!) and a new receptionist said the person that was supposed to call wasn't in the office that day but they would call in the next week. Nobody EVER called! I guess business is going really well for them.

Absolute waste of time. No communication. Strung me along for almost a year. Avoid.
