Silos Restaurant at Pier B

We celebrated our anniversary at Pier B and had dinner reservations at Silo Restaurant planned in advance through open table. When I call the restaurant they were great to coordinate with and helped me with getting my (3rd party) flowers delivered to our table prior to our arrival, so that was tremendously appreciated and above and beyond IMO.
Our server, whose name is Taylor was really wonderful. He did not rush us as you would find in or 'feel' from many other restaurants. He was humorous, very personable and had the perfect balance of 'checking-in' to see if we needed anything. He was able to help us with wine selection, menu advice and truly had the dessert connections under ownership. :) Also... just get the dessert, even if you have to take it home, the carrot cake was tremendous. Silo... you have the atmosphere down, the chef certainly did an exquisite job on the ribeye, mussels, and calamari, however... the folks like Taylor on the 'front-line' make the night memorable, meaningful and provide us as clients unique experiences to share with friends and family. Please extend our appreciation. Thanks for the great dinner!

*Update* Lunch/dinner is wonderful at silos. Make sure to make a reservation as they fill up fast! On a side note, we had breakfast a couple of times since we were staying at Pier B Hotel, and it was okay. There was nothing to rave about compared to their dinner menu.
Started with Walleye cakes and pretzels with beer cheese, both delicious! Then, the new York strip and ribeye for the main, which were cooked beautifully and so juicy!

A delightful and tasty experience.
My spouse loved the pork chop, apple chutney with the carrots & truffle potato.
My son enjoyed his fried parmesean walleye & 2 varieties of potato.
I enjoyed the rare seared tuna and fried veggie noodles, but would say the sauce was too salty! I also would have appreciated more veggies in my entrée.

The mojito was a very flavorful cocktail, albeit not too strong.

The waitstaff was wonderful! All I needed was to ask our waitress, Jessi, one question and she answered & explained everything I was wondering and more. She was very helpful and attentive.

Food quality is consistent and excellent. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Do not forget to order the cheese curds! I'd drive the 2 hours from the twin cities just for those. We went during the restaurant week so got great deals on top sirloin steaks and craft beers. Steaks were perfectly medium throughout. The vegetable marinara pasta satisfied our vegetarian but was surprisingly sweet in a somewhat pleasant way. Bloody Mary was just okay, the garnish was just a lemon slice and 2 green olives.

Really good! We stayed at Pier B and really enjoyed being able to eat right there. I had seen some not so great reviews the prior weekend so I was a bit apprehensive. I got a lot of good feedback from the Twinports Foodie Facebook group, though and decided to give it a shot. We opted for handhelds and the nachos appetizer. All was fabulous and our server was excellent! We ended going back to the lounge after spending 2 hours in the outdoor hot tub, and they even gave us to go cups for our last cocktail so we could enjoy up in our room. Also, the caramel apple cocktail was Amazing!

Excellent food! The cheese curds are a must try! Best ever. The view is amazing and we even got to see a rainbow while having dinner. The decor is very modern while keeping with the local history.

A little on the spendy side, but that is to be expected for a hotel restaurant in Duluth. I'm glad we found this place, just by chance. Felt so fancy & fun to watch the water. Gorgeous scenery!

Grab a patio table for great views! The cheese curds and pretzel appetizers were to die for, and honestly the best I’ve ever had which is saying a lot because they are some of our favorites to order! The cheese curds weren’t super greasy, and the raspberry dipping sauce was great! The pretzels were really soft, and the cheese dipping sauce was delicious. We ate it too fast for a picture. The walleye tacos were suggested, and I’d order those again too.

Celebrating some milestones we decided to treat ourselves to dinner at our hotel after a long day of traveling. Boy was it worth it! The service was amazing. We sat in a charming booth over looking lake Superior. The cheese curd and nacho apps were to DIE for next time I'm getting 2 cheese curd apps. For dinner I had the rib eye and he had the swedish meatballs both delicious. I HIghly recommend Silos.

Amazing food, very reasonable prices for the quality, great happy hour specials, great atmosphere, beautiful views and great service. My picky 8 year old even loves the food!
The squared cheese curds with the spicy raspberry sauce AMAZING along with their steak bites. 🤤 Those are probably my favorites.
Also love their half circle booths. They’re so fun and adorable! 🥰

One of my favorite dinner restaurants in Duluth, must call for reservations, great views of the Harbor.

Dinner space is limited and lunch & happy hour type food could be improved.

Stunning experience! Food was delicious (my favorite dish was the cheese curds with raspberry jalepeno sauce) and our server was friendly & prompt. The view to the lift bridge is stunning and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is vibrant.

We had a lovely time and went specifically for the Bentleyville view. It was beautiful! We had a table by the window. I gave atmosphere a 4, because it was a little chilly, however, I don't know if that can be something they control when you're sitting next to a huge window and it's 1° outside!
Service was good, not over bearing. If you get the carrot cake, it's really big! 3 of us shared it and still took a lot home.

Nice place, with a great view! Delicious food, and so big portions 😊…. We like it, and we spend not so much money ✨

Stopped in for lunch and watched the ships come into Duluth. Food was ok but overcooked and not what we expected for the price. Our waiter was not overly attentive, and we had to track someone down to get refills on our drinks. Portions were plenty, just could have been tastier.

Alexa makes the best Long Island Iced Tea that I’ve ever had. The whole team joined me there and we ordered roughly a dozen. Food was good too. Had to stop back in for a second take after discovering the drinks and luckily the food menu was good enough to make it an easy sell to the team. We even were able to watch the avalanche/lightning game 1 there. Overall fantastic drinks, good food, and Alexxa was very knowledgeable about the underwater panther, manitou spirit, water dragon. I’ll be back.

Best chicken wings ever.... hamburger was great and so was the shrimp... flatbread pizza was excellent .. definitely will be back
