A new job gave me the opportunity to relocate from Washington, DC, to Minnesota. The catch was that I needed to conduct my search for a single-family home remotely. I needed a real estate team I could trust to both offer a turnkey relocation solution and to do so with the poise that comes from deep knowledge of the entire Twin Cities market. Aside from being one of the most genuinely enthusiastic people we have ever worked with, Nick's dedication to us, first time homebuyers from out of state, was truly remarkable. On top of that, he made the process of buying a home really fun. He is someone you can be real with and felt like a reliable and empathetic partner in each part of the process. At no point did it feel like he was trying to sell us any of the many homes we toured together, in person and virtually. He is as focused on uncovering the potential defects of a home as he is about enjoying the beauty of homes and their histories and their neighborhoods. Walking up to a house, he would often note the absence of gutters, or point out that cedar siding might mean more maintenance, etc; all the things he knows you really want to be considering. Very patient and thoughtful. Nick was all about helping us find the right home in the right neighborhood, and we absolutely did. Jesse was fantastic in sharing insights and coordinating, too.

Moving is always stressful. Ours was even more so as we moved halfway across the country and bought a home we'd never seen in person. Thanks to Nick and Jesse we were comfortable that we'd be able to do so and confident in the process. Nick's knowledge, responsiveness, and virtual-tour-commentary helped us find our new home in Minnesota for the right price and with the right timing. I’m not sure I could say enough to accurately paint a picture of what a delight it was to work with Amber and Jesse. My wife and I relocated to the area for my job and in the first 5 minutes of our very first meeting it was abundantly clear we had chosen the right team to work with and really made us feel like we would be happy to call Minnesota home. I wouldn’t even consider using anyone else for any future home-buying or selling needs so long as I am in Minnesota. Jesse was such a great person to work with. He was extremely responsive our questions and requests during the home buying process. It was easy to tell that he had our best interest in mind and trust me, you'll know it when he's your agent. This is the kind of person you want to be working with when making a huge life decision. To the Twin Cities was great to work with, especially when relocating from another state. We primarily worked with Steve, who was extremely responsive, patient, and encouraging as we navigated a hot housing market. Steve showed us MANY houses all over the metro and was extremely patient as we worked through our "must haves" and "definitely nots." The virtual tours when we were still out of state were very thorough, and helped train us on what to look for when we were able to tour homes in person. Steve helped us write several strong offers, eventually landing "the one" with lessons learned from others we had lost. All in all, after a few months of searching, we got a house that checked nearly all of our boxes, and has since felt like fate. We LOVE the house and the neighborhood, and already feel "at home." Jesse helped us navigate buying a home in a hot market. He explained every step of the process to us like we were 5 (because let's be honest, buying a house is a big commitment that can be confusing) He was always available when we needed him. If we wanted to see a house, he would confirm almost immediately that we could go see it later that day. He was very patient with us and truly wanted us to find the perfect house. His ultimate goal was for us to be happy, and made it very clear that he would see 100s of houses with us, as long as we ended up with something we loved, which we did. He genuinely enjoyed looking at houses with us and it made the process a lot of fun. We honestly miss that aspect, just because he was great to be around.
