Duluth Veterinary Hospital

Two different times we needed our dog to be seen right away and both times the team squeezed us in. We are so appreciative for the great care given to our dog! They’ve been our vet for years and the care has always been exceptional!

Dr. Dank has been vital for providing quality care for our dog Cooper, who can be a handful. Dr.Beeman is also great with our cat, Maggie. My husband and I truly appreciate all the staff at Duluth vet!

I rarely take the time to submit reviews but I simply can not express how thankful I am for this veterinarian. I called with an urgent care request for a severely sick dog (while not being established) and they were more than willing to help. The admin staff, technicians, and Dr Dank were absolutely fabulous. You could tell they truly cared. Very clear with pricing and followed up numerous times throughout the day. A huge thank you to this team.

For many years (from 1995) I have doctored with Duluth veterinary Hospital with an assortment of dogs and cats. At times with a geographical move, I’ve seen other doctors but have found that the quality and expertise at DVH resulted in diagnoses previously not given. The correct diagnosis resulted in longer and better lives for my beloved pets. That’s money well spent. Staff are kind and efficient in a well run practice.

DVH is the veterinary hospital I to others in the area. We just recently saw Dr Beeman, with a puppy, he was so thorough and both he and technician Kari answered all my questions. We love Dr Dank, and Jody is a long time favorite by everyone in our family!

We have brought our dogs and cats to Duluth Vet Hospital for over 30 years, and are grateful for their consistent quality and compassion through all stages of our pets' lives. From routine care to unexpected surgery to making decisions on end-of-life care, the vets and veterinary staff at Duluth Vet have provided thoughtful advice and care, or trusted referrals if a condition needs attention they are unable to provide.

Our sock loving lab has had a few surgeries done here. More recently, he almost had to undergo another. Thankfully, with the care of the team here, Mikko was able to avoid the surgery with their help and he passed the sock. It was grateful to NOT see the vet doctor just jump in, and do the surgery that would’ve cost us thousands. Their best interest is in your pet and not money. Mikko has never been cared for better!

We are new to the area and hadn't yet established care with a vet. Our puppy needed to be seen as she was having some concerning symptoms. DVH was so kind and helpful and got our sweet girl taken care of. Thank y'all so much! P.s. Sunni loves her new scarf.

Have been going there for many years. Always receive excellent care. Every vet tech and veterinarian is so compassionate and knowledgeable.

It took a couple months or so before we could get Pickle in for her initial check up, but the wait was well worth it. The staff is SO FRIENDLY and you can just tell that animal well being is their way of life, not just a job.
I was inspired to finally write this review because recently Pickle destroyed a remote and I couldn’t find one of the batteries. I panicked. The staff was able to squeeze me in for an X-ray within an hour of my first visit phone call to them. I was so worried, but the vet and everyone at the front desk was so positive. Thankfully, the X-ray showed a battery-free belly. I was absolutely relieved. If it weren’t for the staff at Duluth Veterinary Hospital, I would have had to spend at least 5x as much at the emergency vet or stayed up all night worrying about Pickle’s well being. 10/10 to the staff and a big THANK YOU!

I brought 1 of my 6 pets here to test the waters so to speak, I was not happy with the care at our previous vet. Duluth Veterinary Hospital did more for my dog in one visit than the previous vet did in 2 years and my dog is now back to his normal, happy, healthy self! I highly highly recommend DVH! Staff is friendly, they truly care about each animal, and they treat you with respect. Some say prices are high, I have not had that experience. They talk to you about prices before doing anything, so far no more expensive than my last vet.

Able to get a short notice urgent care visit. Have always been reasonable and respectful when making care decisions. Upfront pricing before any procedures is a great move on their part.

We just lost our beloved Rusty. They were professional and caring. Always calling back when we were dealing with Rusty's illness. Can't say enough good about Duluth veterinary hospital. Highly recommend.

Best vet in Duluth!! I’m so happy we found Duluth Veterinary Hospital, they have been wonderful to work with. My dog has degenerative disk disease and I’m very picky about where I take him. We’ve been all across the country and there have been few places as good as this one. They are kind, knowledgeable, and really care for your pets. Pricing is also very reasonable. It did take a little time to get our first appointment on the schedule, but it was well worth the wait. I highly recommend Duluth Veterinary Hospital to anyone who cares about their pets!

We had to put our cat down today. Our family is devastated. With that said, I can't think of a more warm, understanding, friendly staff to give us (and our loved one) comfort during this deviating process and help us in our time of need. Today was one of my worst days I can think of and yet we left knowing our cat was loved and in good hands while we went through this difficult process. No more pain 😞

You could tell immediately these people cared about taking care of animals. they were very professional right down to the vet techs and the vet herself was outstanding!she liked both my dogs and made great comments about them. We just switched to this vet and man am I glad we did.

The vet and staff was absolutely amazing. They were empathetic and sincere. My husband and I were a mess with putting our 17 yr old dog down and they made it the best experience they could with the situation we were in*

Love the Vet Techs and the Vets. They are always so friendly and have a way of handling the animals to keep them calm. They all have pets of their own so they know how it feels when something happens to your pet. Makes it a lot more personal than a business. Wouldn't go any where else. Always satisfied with the care my furry friends receive. They can even handle the little ones that are not so friendly with strangers.

They are always kind and understand your animals. Have time to listen to your concerns. Been to other places in Duluth that don't do that.
