Teeny Weeny Miniature Cottage

I love this shop! Sadly, there aren't many retail shops anywhere these days for miniature hobbyists and lovers of dollhouses. Teeny Weeny Miniature Cottage in Duluth has ready-made dollhouses, kits to make your own, dollhouse furniture, families, pets, and everything to make your small world "real."

This store is EPIC! I'm absolutely just amazed at the displays as well as the selection on hand. Anything you could need, want, or dream of for any miniature display, scene, dollhouse, diorama, or hyper-realistic scene- she has in stock on hand. I've never seen such a variety and vast selection at any hobby or specialty store as the lady at Teeny Weeny Miniature Cottage has. It's truly impressive. To the lady who said you don't need to come to this store - she's so wrong! You do need to come see it for yourself! I will be back with more people who are going to be in 7th Heaven and just as impressed as I am. And it is far from unfriendly! I was greeted with kind hearted welcoming, she was very helpful & I could see her love of what she does and has here. It made me all the more excited to see the next house, box, or scene. Alot of detail, care and love put into each one. I left there with a gift for my 6year old daughter and the biggest smile on my face. Truly made my day visiting this store. Can't wait to come back!!

This store has an incredible assortment of miniature items for sale and on display. A must see store for anybody interested in miniature things.

This store is a miniaturists dream! They truly have everything you could possibly need. I was absolutely DELIGHTED to find such a beautiful, well stocked miniature store in my own city! I brought my two young kids and the owner was very kind to them and very helpful as well. She even gave us quarters for parking when ours ran out! I bought several treasures and was SO excited I didn’t have to order them online and could support somewhere local. I can’t wait to go back!

If you are a dollhouse miniature fan, this is the place to go! Many lovely dollhouse displays to look at and get ideas. The owner was so helpful with giving me ideas for my dollhouse, and for troubleshooting a lighting issue. There are so many things to see here, you may need to make more than one visit to see everything. Yes, there are online options out there, but I would much prefer to support the local shop owners when I’m able.

This store has everything you can dream of for miniatures! Make sure you have time to look around. There's so much to see. And so many houses and nooks to look at. The detail put into each one is absolutely AMAZING!! The lady who owns it is so helpful and nice. This is a must see. You won't find anything like this. I highly recommend a visit to her shop.

Fun shop to visit. Lots of miniatures to look at. Bev was so helpful. I told her what I was looking for and she brought out containers of nursery items for me to look through. Found what I needed! There is a lot to see through out the store.

I don’t know why someone would leave mean spirited comments on the store. It’s a smaller physical space, she only has so much to work with. The store has almost a mysterious feel to it, that’s why I like it! I’m from the Twin Cities and I’d love to have an enchanted little store like this!

This has become a very favorite spot in Duluth. The knowledge of the shop owner is astounding. It is like every square inch is a story. You just don’t want to leave.

Great Place!! Worked with the owner. Very knowledgeable and helpful, my daughter had a wonderful time picking out things for my dollhouse that will soon be hers!! Will be returning with every future trip to Duluth. Well worth the drive!!

You build dollhouses or need that special piece of furniture, Teeny Weeny has it.

This establishment is out of step with contemporary store fronts. Too much future landfill on display. They would have better luck turning it into a dollhouse museum with a few well made displays instead of the over packed dusty ones they are trying to sell. Unfriendly place. You don’t have to go here. You can buy this stuff online at a better price.

Although the miniatures here are very cute and nice, the pricing on most of them was absurd, dolls hanging in yellow plastic bags on a revolving rack for over $100, things shoved together in bags but being sold separately, chaotic and messy. As soon as my daughter and I started looking at things, the owner was hovering behind us, no greeting, and started following my daughter silently and whenever she (my teen daughter) pointed at something, even when it was behind glass the owner swooped in and acted like she was going to break something. My daughter gently picked up a doll from an open display to check the price, and the owner snatched it out of her hand. She was rude and hostile ,and she ruined what was supposed to be a fun outing for my daughter and I. Definitely would not recommend.

We had a horrible experience here a few weeks back. I wanted so badly to love this shop that I didn’t say anything initially, but I just can’t stop thinking about it. My wife and I popped in with our 2 year old son. There was a sign on the door about leaving children unattended so we made sure to keep our son close by. As soon as we walked through the door, the owner seemed noticeably bothered by our presence and was alarmingly unfriendly. I tried to make light conversation with her to break the tension, but she was hyper fixated on my wife and son who were looking at (not touching) a dollhouse in the front of the store. She walked over and began to follow them so closely she was almost touching them. Again, we get it, she doesn’t want kids to mess up her displays, but our son was just looking, and we were both alert and on him. The whole time she was glaring at us. I began to ask her some questions about products she carries and she asked “do you have a dollhouse?” To which I replied “yes we’re shopping for our son’s dollhouse.” She gasped and said “HE has a dollhouse?!” Then she rolled her eyes, shook her head, and looked disgusted. We left immediately. We were so sad that our experience was so short lived. We were all so excited to check out this shop.
