Columbia Gas of Massachusetts

Great people great service.

I Requested they take the name off of my account on Jan 18 2022. I moved out two months before that in November. They surprised me with a past due bill today July 2022. Unacceptable. I dont even live in the apartment anymore. Customer support makes too many mistakes and does nothing to help they just transfer you around then hang up on you.

The president of Columbia gas coming out to talk today, after first sending a 75 year old women to try and explain total chaos, was incredibly lame. After laying in a bunker for 24 hours, he comes out and try’s to take a position that he has been in total contact with government emergency services. This was rebuked by the governor an hour before, when he pulled Columbia off the case.

This guy should be removed. Probably an accountant type in a mans job.

Too bad there isn't a competitor out there. They get away with poor customer service because you can't get gas anywhere else. I hope deregulation is introduced in Massachusetts, because I could become a millionaire offering a different supplier. Worst customer service of all utilities...but there will be a price to pay in deregulation which is only around the corner
