Tipsy Steer Roseville

I ate here for the first time last night with my husband when looking for a fun, casual sit-down nearby. We very much enjoyed our food and experience dining here. The restaurant has fun decor inside and a nice outdoor patio area for warmer months. The place had a good amount of people there for a Sunday night, but was not overly busy. We were able to sit down right away and were served promptly.

We ordered hard seltzers (blood orange and prickly pinneapple) and burgers (plain cheese burger and bacon jam burger) plus the armadillo egg appetizer, and the food was really good. Our seltzers were okay, but not the best hard seltzer we've had. My husband liked his quite a bit though. The blood orange flavor was better than prickly pineapple IMO. Prickly pineapple tasted more like prickly pear than pineapple (was a mix of the two), so if you like pears a lot, then you might like this. The seltzer had a less sweet taste than more mainstream brands, which might appeal to some more than others.

My only complaint about the service here was that they brought the appetizer after our entrees, which kinda defeats the purpose of an appetizer, and we had to ask for forks. Otherwise, our waitress was nice and offered good service and food was priced reasonably.

Stopped into Tispy Steer for a lunch. We shared their wood fire pizza and it was delicious. We got a flight of beer to try. They have a great selection of beer and food. We will be back.

Amazing food! We really enjoyed all parts of our meal. We got a bear that was good.
Kids are welcome, and they have a kids menu for a reasonable price. Their menu has a lot of great options. The hazy sunrise and aged cheddar & bacon burger were delicious! The kids Mac n cheese was sooo good. The onion rings were thick and delicious. And the milkshake was to die for. The service was okay, but there was one person there for at least half the tables.

This has become one of our Happy Hour hot spots. The bang bang Shrimp and the bacon lollipops are super special. And the High Pines brewing beers are always a treat.

Friendly and attentive staff! Food was great as always! Definitely recommend the pretzels to start and the cheddar and bacon burger!

We stopped by here after a long day and we're really happy with what we got! Generous portions and really wonderful burgers. Really reasonable prices too. Going across the street to Olive Garden would have cost us twice as much. Definitely adding this to our list for when we are in the area.

Had to change our lunch plans suddenly due to gas lines being down where we initially had a reservation at. Chose this place last minute and all 9 of us were satisfied!! Seat yourself seating was nice too as we didn’t have to wait. Great beers and variety of food. Everything tasted amazing. Menu includes vegan options for two folks in our group with dairy allergies, so that really worked out for us. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Oh and I was impressed with the amount of wheat beer options. Many places seem to love having mostly only IPAs, so thank you!!

I have been here 3 times now and have enjoyed it each time. Servers are friendly, cool atmosphere. My favorite beer here is the love letters w/ raspberry. Burgers are pretty good, but my favorite I have tried is their pickle pizza! A must try for pickle lovers! The onion rings are giant and have an awesome beer batter and are yummy.

One of my favorite places to eat in Roseville. Awesome rotating selection of drinks and I love their food. I've tried several shakes and they are also delicious. In the summer the patio is wonderful and the seltzer slushes are delicious! My favorite burger is the bacon jam with brie cheese.

Despite short staffed service was attentive and friendly Bartender knowledgeable about on tap selections Seltzer was great Enjoyed the beer flight

Great Gastro pub off Snelling Avenue in Roseville. The beer pretzels was great appetizer as came with 4 baked pretzels enough to share. The Tennessee Hot Chicken sandwich was fantastic... Crispy fried but still perfectly tender. Everything else everyone had in my party was good flavor and quality. Look forward to many more visits when in St Paul/Roseville area.

Had a wonderful time here for lunch. Food was hot and came out fast. Service was tops. Beer was delicious as well. Great selection. Want to come back and try more. Thanks for the great experience!

I had such a great time on a Tuesday night here. Met up with friends and had the steak tips and the Bavarian Pretzel and cheese. My beverage was the Chocolate shake that was heavenly. I would have all of it again and again if only I was 18.😄 They also had a trivia game night and we won 2nd place. Got a gift card to come back. So much fun. Will be trying it again soon.

Delicious burgers. Perfectly crispy fries. Both beers recommended by our waiter were excellent. I only wish I’d had room for one of their impressive milkshakes. I will be back without a doubt.. their menu had too many great choices!!

I have gone here a couple of times. The first time was a brunch and the second time was for drinks. I will definitely be back again.

The food was good and drinks were great! I loved that they had many seltzers on tap. If you aren't a beer fan - this is a great option! Happy Hour we got $1/off drinks, which was nice.

Staff was prompt and took away our dirty dishes in a short amount of time.

Was at High Pines for a few delicious beers and got food from Tipsy Steer. Omg, SO good! Worth coming just for the food! (but get the beer also!) We're definitely be back over and over and over again! If your on the fence, don't be, get there. Lots of large TVs for sports as well.

The beer drinkers at the table loved your Honey Pines Ale. We had so much fun tasting your appetizers: Nachos, Bacon Lollipops and Brussel Sprouts. Our entrees were delicious, too. Sunnies and Chips and Short Rib Grilled Cheese, to name two.

It was fairly full on Tuesday evening when we went before the free trivia night, but we were seated quickly and the service was great. Food was delicious as usual. 10/10 will be back.

Tasty beer from an in-house brewery. We tried the shrimp po boy, armadillo eggs, fondu, onion rings, fries, and a couple other things and everything was so very yummy.

I have been here several times and am always happy with the food. Apps, salads, pizza, sandwiches-- it has never disappointed!
