The people who work here have shown me nothing but courtesy and helpfulness.

The gracious, professional staff of Public Health & Human Services come to work everyday to perform a thankless job. They help thousands of people who desperately need food, shelter, child care, and a thousand other necessities most of us take for granted.

One employee is expected to do the work of five and in many instances, they are so underpaid, they're in need of the very services they are helping others to receive.

The staff are often treated badly by the very people who are requesting services, but due to experience and training, they consistently deescalate the situation so the client's case can proceed.

I relied on the people that make up this government agency for more years than I care to admit and through my ups and mostly downs I was always treated with respect, kindness and professionalism.

I just have one more thing to say; "Give your excellent, honest, reliable, competent, professional employees a raise for goodness sakes!"

My daughters mom had a ofp against me over false allegations of abuse based on nothing more than hear say to alienate and keep me alienated from my daughter despite there never being any direct threats, physical abuse or any signs of physical abuse. She walked into the courthouse in front of a judge last summer alleging abuse over nothing more than hearsay text messages if even that, and then once she was done with me after her constant cheating and lies showed a judge nothing more than controversial hearsay text messages and got a full blown restraining order with the help of me getting mild criminal charges for violating the ofp last month. The fact that anyone in that courthouse even signed off or listened to anything regarding that matter shows how easily she manipulated the situation to keep me alienated from my child for control and personal reasons and motives on her behalf. The reasons for the original ofp were over 1 lie and 2 very minor disagreements 4-6 months before the child I had with her was even born her real reason for the ofp was because I was dishonest with her and was seeing someone else when the child I have with her was born last May. She's done stuff like this to the father's of her other children too over petty hearsay reasons the fact that anyone of you people that work for the st. Louis county government went right along with it is truly sad and shows how easily one disordered mother with a personality disorder can manipulate the system to keep my alienated from my child. Which has also been happening to me for over 8 years with my son's also living in Minnesota and their family. Sad truly your system is broken and not for actually helping children or keeping them in both the parents lives.

I am not understanding why I have to reapply every two months ? Nor am I not understanding why my paper work is getting lost. The people are rude and unhelpful. Paper work mailed out always arrives late and benefits get cancelled because you didn’t reapply on time . Well how can you when the paperwork arrives two weeks after the fact. I often have to email my stuff in three times because they claim they never got it .

Idiots never sent out health insurance renewal forms, only forms stating that if I intended on keeping the same provider I didn’t need to take any action, then canceled my insurance without telling me, which resulted in Walgreens refusing to give me “FREE” flu vaccines and Covid vaccines. The healthcare system in this country is putrid and of less than third world quality.

It's pretty sad that you apply for benefits and one person says that everything looks fine and then the next person says that the documents were not correct. Heaven forbid you are told about it unless you call and badger them. Needs to be faster notifications of needed information so that the correct documents can be sent in quicker.... the post office is not quick enough... everyone is going to electronics so why can't this process...

Terrible service employees that absolutely do everything they can to shame you for receiving assistance. You must live well under poverty level in this county to get anything. Even food!

Worse place ever. Do not ask them for help be coming sure they will divide your family instead of offering help. The court will not protect your rights but rather terminate them. Very broken system.

Staff are lazy and uncaring. Even social workers who are supposed to help people, will abuse and manipulate their clients

The staff of this building smoke their cigs in the back alley and threaten people. Horrible trashy people.
