Great food and service. Love the view!! We were there to celebrate our first kidney transplant anniversary and the hosts were very accommodating. Unfortunately couldn't get any seafood as most of the things were gone by the time we got there. Looking forward to go back again!!

Great food at the Dockside Restaurant! I had fried haddock and it tasted so fresh and was perfectly battered. The French fries were homemade and delicious. It was a large portion so I ate my leftovers for lunch the next day. Our server was a sweetheart and very attentive.

Amazing food. Great people, great service, and great view. Thanks for a great dining experience. We will be back.

I had the combo plate which was fried haddock and fried whole clams. It was delicious. And the service was great! This was a great lunch stop after hiking Mount Major. And there's a bar if you want libations.

The place is small, cozy, and friendly. The food is beyond amazing. The owner and employees are super friendly and interactive definitely would give more than 5 stars if I could. Definitely coming back

If I go back to this area, I will definitely go to this restaurant. Good food, live music and most importantly good people.

Absolutely the best food and atmosphere, I would recommend going and enjoying the moment. Definitely try the shrimp scampi, it was so good nothing was left in my plate. Excellent place for entertainment on Saturday and Sunday. Definitely check it out.

Best haddock sandwiches ever (and fried clams, and brussel sprouts appetizer, and...) we go a lot when on vaca in Alton Bay)!

An excellent first experience with Dockside Restaurant! We heard it was a hidden jewel in Alton and so we finally stopped by for dinner and thoroughly agree with the rumors!

Their baked haddock was out of this world and the lobster roll generously portioned and dressed perfectly.

The chef was even prepared with gluten free options which is ALWAYS appreciated. You made it possible for me to enjoy your baked haddock instead of being locked in to ordering a salad due to my gluten allergy. ❤

Great drinks, friendly and prompt service, and live music. We loved it all and will be back. Keep up the great work.

We went on a Tuesday evening. They were obviously short staffed. We sat at the bar. The bartender was running food. Seating people. Making drinks.she was amazing. Our food (steak) was surprisingly quick and delicious. Our sons hot honey chicken sandwich was delicious and the hand cut fries were crisp and piping hot. Highly recommended

My wife and I came today for our anniversary. Cynthia was our server she was fantastic. Nice Friendly atmosphere. We had the the Baked stuff lobster and when they say more lobster than cracker there not joking, there had to be at least 1/2lb of lobster meat in this stuffing, this meal was perfection. I had the prim rib and this blew my mind this was cooked with love. I have had prim rib many times but how ever they cooked it was the best I ever had. Oh and you must try the clam chowder. We highly recommend this place.

We love this place! Prices are reasonable. The fish sandwich is awesome and they make a great drink! Tammy is the best!

This was one of the best places we've been in a long time, mostly because of the service. I wish we got the name but didn't. Our service this Sunday at 2 was a refreshing reminder of what local, New England hospitality is. Our server was attentive, respective, fast, and competant. Having served before, I know what a headache a large table with kids can be. She brushed it off like it was just another table and made us feel welcome and easy (it never is with kids!). The food was also great. We will absolutely come back.

We had the best experience here tonight, our server Kathleen (with a K) was just the greatest by moving us from the oppressive heat outside to inside without a problem and keeping us in stitches through our whole meal. Great food and atmosphere. We had the RI clam cakes, which were great and the scallops which were also delicious! Kathleen, Christopha says we’ll be back! 🤣

I don't write a lot of reviews, but my family and I had such a GREAT experience yesterday at the Dockside that I wanted to get it out there. We sat on the porch, across from one of the oldest parts on the lake, which we love. I ordered the fried seafood platter, and it was the best I've had in a long time, maybe forever. My kids' meals were nicely portioned and priced and my wife said her burger was exceptional. We're on the other side of the lake and usually hit up Pop's when we dock in Alton Bay, but that will be changing! Thanks for a great lunch—we really enjoyed it.
