Garwoods Restaurant

Delicious! We went today with our young daughter and enjoyed our experience. The staff were nice, the views were great. Bathroom and restaurant were very clean. My husband got fish and chips and he loved it. My daughter, a toddler, had a quesadilla. They have high chairs and also small cups with straws. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich. It was very good but very spicy. I probably wont order it next time just because of how spicy it was but the overall taste was nice and fresh. Highly recommend.

Could not ask for a better fall day to sit on the outdoor deck and overlook lake Winnepesaukee! Food is fantastic, staff is great and prices very reasonable! HIGHLY recommend

We were happy to find a place that had buck a shuck oysters close to home. The atmosphere is perfect. Cozy, classy, with a wide open view of the lake. The cocktails were amazing. Absolutely perfect. We didn't try much of the menu because we were gorging on oysters and tacos, but will be back soon to try the rest! Not sure how we missed this unassuming space. We've lived down the road for 20 years.

Pretty cool place! Stopped in for drinks and an appetizer with my husband on our anniversary. Specialty cocktails were delicious! And we shared the pot stickers(chefs kiss) The bartenders were very nice! We liked the atmosphere of the dark,calm, boat like interior. We will be back for sure!

Great dinner overlooking lake
Sat outside on the downstairs deck - wonderful lake view on relaxing early evening. Shared the Caesar salad and 5-spice salmon entree - delicious and lite. Penny Island cocktail was their version of a Vodka mule. Delicious! Wine selection was good too. Service was terrific by server, “Aedan”, and our busser “Kenzie”. Both made the dinner fun - friendly conversation and prompt service. Will return and would recommend!

Beautiful, clean, and they paid attention to details. No hazy, blinding LED lighting. Creative menu without getting too off the charts. The family owners work there.

I have been to Garwoods many times, but today my drink surpassed all drinks I’ve had here before… I got a cold brew espresso martini made by Sonya (who is an excellent bartender/server, and so friendly!). The drink was made with locales brewed coffee from Lucas (check them out, too!), and topped with whipped Baileys foam. I believe that it is going on the summer menu, but just ask for it! Yum! Also- sit outside because the view is great.

Great food, great view. Had a great and personal server. Sat immediately and food was hot and quick! Definitely will return!

Just came off of a big ride on the Cotton Valley Rail Trail and needed a nice lunch. I was looking for a cold drink so we got the Garwood Punch! Great drink! I had the buffalo tenders and she had the Butternut Squash Ravioli salad. Both were what we exactly wanted!

Warm and friendly on a cold winter day, with awesome views of Lake Winnipesaukee. Doesn't hurt to have $1.00 oysters either. Highly reccomend!.

We tried several restaurants on Sunday. No one would take a party of 14 but with 2 minutes before closing, Garwoods took us. Such great service. Can't say enough about these guys.

Great location on the shore of the lake in downtown Wolfeboro. We ate from their lunch menu. I had a burger and my hubby a salmon sandwich; we shared the roasted red pepper hummus. Everything was delicious and served with chips...no fries. Wonderful service.

Since Garwoods is an almost 2 hour drive each way for us, we only go twice a year in the summer but we absolutely love going there to eat outside on one of their lovely decks overlooking Wolfeboro Harbor. Their food has been consistently good and we especially love the beer battered chicken tenders - they are the BEST we've ever had.

Love the setting of Garwoods being right at lake level in Wolfeboro for the patio and just above for the main dining room. Have eaten a variety of meals here at a variety of times of day and always walk away happy with what I've enjoyed.

Lovely food - try the salmon. And the team there are so friendly and efficient. You have a lovely view over the lake which was nice even though it was raining when we went. 5 stars!

Beautiful spot right on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee. When I'm in Wolfboro, this is a must for me. I sit at the bar and have a dozen oysters. The staff here are friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and the view can't be beat! There's outside seating too!

We visited while on vacation and really enjoyed our meal there. It’s deceptively large with a great 2-level deck out back overlooking the lake. We will definitely return! My only gripe is the beer was a bit expensive ($9-$10) but that’s a minor complaint.

Loved sitting on the patio looking out over the lake. Pretty traditional menu options. Great cocktails and beers.
