Gents Barbershop

I’ve been to a fair bit of barbershops in my life and I can easily say this has been the best barbershop I’ve been to. I have longer hair and it’s typically harder for barbershops to get it right. I booked a haircut with Amy and she absolutely nailed it! Like NAILED IT. Never been happier with a haircut. I would HIGHLY recommend her, especially if you’re a guy with longer hair. She did a wonderful job, on top of being very personable and enjoyable to talk to. Cannot stress this place enough, absolutely wonderful experience, I will be coming back!

Shelly and her staff are the best around! Shelly has been cutting my son’s hair since he was little. He always looks forward to seeing her and knows he will leave with a cut he loves. Highly recommend!

Sharon and everyone are so friendly and able to accommodate our family. Me and our two boys have been going to Gents for several years and have always felt amazing when we are done with our cuts.

My stylist (Shelly) gave me what is my favorite hairstyle of all time. They take the time to really get everything right. Worth every penny and more!

I would leave 6 stars if i could.... i wish this shop was in my home state... id be there every week. The service was phenomenal... very friendly and accommodating. Great haircut and head washing.... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BARBER SHOP.

I've known Shelly for 20 years, and she has cut my hair for almost as long. She is very good at what she does, and between the service, and conversation I always leave with a great cut, and a good attitude. She is one of those people that just makes you happy you had a chance to stop and talk to. Always great!

Shelly cut my hair and Amy cut my husband’s. So needed trims after weeks of COVID - 19 closures. And yes, this barbershop trio of owner Shelly, Amy and Sharon cut women’s hair and protocols are in effect with barbers and patrons wearing masks, distancing and no one waiting in the shop but staying in cars or sitting outside until they are ready for you. Fast, efficient and prices are so right! This is a barbershop and not a beauty salon! Cut and finished! Recommend? YES!

My son was very pleased with the result of this cut! Sharon was very nice and friendly. Very worth the 3 bucks for the extra shampoo massage. We will be coming back soon!

I usually frequent a chain/franchise type Salon but came across an ad in the local Seacoast Scene Paper advertising “Gents Barbershop” so I checked out their website!

I was pleasantly surprised that I could actually make an appointment online for a specific day and time, so I did for the following day at 10 am.

I was greeted by Shelly, the owner, with a warm and welcoming smile. We had a nice conversation while she took her time to meticulously cut my hair and that is something that other hairdressers in the chain/franchise type Salons just don’t do! It’s usually Move’m in Move’m out! Not at Gents!

I loved my cut and suggest that you make an appointment at Gents Barbershop for your next Haircut, you won’t be disappointed! It’ll be my Barbershop of choice from now on! Check it out!! 5 Stars all the way! :)

Stop searching you found the best place for a cut! Awesome atmosphere, great waiting area with wifi and coffee. All updated and fresh inside. The owner/operator took care of me when I came. Very pleasant and talented. She cut my hair and trimmed my beard. Great conversation followed. I stopped here while traveling from 800 miles away. I wish this shop was in my hometown!

Shelly and Sharon are good people. They are always smiling and so friendly. The shop is awesome and they give the best haircuts in town. I highly recommend them.

I was searching for a local barbershop and came across Gents. I read all of the reviews and decided to geive them a shot. It's a really nice place, owned and operated by two friendly women. They offer a great haircut at a very reasonable price.

Excellent haircut. Shelley is careful, precise, skillful, and caring. The hot towel was a delightful extra touch, as was the scalp massage.
