This place was awesome to me. My family and I broke down coming from GA to CT. They had everything in stock that I needed. The staff was very comforting in my situation. Thank you for a great experience in an unknown place! You went above and beyond!

My battery died today, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at about 3:30 pm. Luckily, I was right outside of the Advance Auto Parts store on Salem St., Dover, NJ.

I went in and asked for assistance. I asked to borrow their booster. They were very nice & helpful. One guy loaned me the booster, while another guy, "Damien " offered to come out to with a tester to test the battery.

They got my car started & the test showed that the alternator & battery were still "good", just old 5/2016. So about 7 years old. I'll get a new battery from these guys.

Manager is real nice, very helpful, and most importantly, VERY patient.

I had an issue with an online order for store pick up, placed through advanced online for car quest. I was told it could be returned anywhere, including advanced, because I ordered through them.

That was NOT the case. It resulted in me coming out of character, and arguing with the manager, basically acting like a “Karen”.

He still was very calm and patient with me, and still tried to offer me help with what he could.

After a few minutes, my mind clicked and realized I was out of character. I felt terrible for taking my frustration out on him, for something he didn’t even do.

I apologized, we managed to get through it and everything, but I just want to give them huge props for how they handled the situation, and being able to walk out of there both smiling and laughing, was nice. Def recommend him if you need help. He also trains his employees on proper protocols, lol

Have used this store for twenty years, never a problem .TODAY MAY 7 2023 I needed a battery for my lawn tractor I was having trouble walking so they got the old one out of my trunk and brought the new one back in the trunk so I didn't have to lift anything. Plus a Discount . Great Service .

Went to Dover location where the cashier helped change my battery. He was professional and courteous. It should be noted. I called Autozone and they stated they had no staff and could not provide any help. Thank you AAP!

My last visit was excellent. They changed my battery quickly and efficiently.

Friendly staff that are knowledgeable. They have good prices for batteries but order online for discounts then go pick it up. They also install it for free. The only problem is the register is slow.

This is a great place. They always have what I need and they’ve saved me on more than one occasion.

Needed a hitch in a serious time crunch and Kyle was more than helpful. Very much went above and beyond :) plus everyone in the store was very friendly.

Great place to buy car parts, bought a new car battery, my other one lasted 7 years from here and they'll install it if you need to, excellent experience.

Not only did they install wipers in the rain, but he also gave me a discounted price. Very helpful and much appreciated the gesture

A little out of the way for me but the store was well stocked in the items I needed and the staff was very helpful.

An employee at the front desk helped me out even came to the car with me for the Jerry rigging I had to do of my windshield and bumper (also told me the name for the windshield 😂). Never caught his name, but he was friendly, helpful, and professional. If anyone from management is reading this, it's the guy who also works at the Valvoline (or worked not sure). Give the man some brownie points.
