This place is my stomping ground for some pretty nice prices when it comes to wine, beer, and even hard liquors. The selection is great- no, they don’t carry all the brands but you’d be hard pressed to find a liquor store that does, and considering the markdowns, this shop is very competitive. Aesthetically, it underwent a great storefront facelift (during the plaza-wide makeover) which was a long time coming, and now I feel the inside “quality” is matched by a handsome exterior. I’ve become more of a beer and hard beverage gal of late but I always appreciate the wine selection, especially around the holidays and when it comes to purchasing wine as a gift or for a byob night out. Only con is I don’t believe they carry Innis and Gunn beer. Also, although they carry Revel Stoke, I can’t find the roasted pecan flavored whisky. No biggie. They have most of my favorite brands, a bountiful selection of wines, and some of the best prices around. Closet competitor I’d say is Bottle King a few miles down 10 West. That shop is always so busy though and the parking isn’t as humane as Wine King. Always ample parking here due to the strip mall location.
