SpringHill Suites by Marriott Hampton Portsmouth

This hotel is conveniently located off the interstate and within driving distance to Portsmouth. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well appointed. The hotel is within driving distance to restaurants and stores, and the breakfast offered has a nice variety so that everyone should be able to find something they like. However, the best part of this hotel is the staff. From the front desk, to housekeeping and the kitchen team, all were professional and helpful. Great recommendations for dining on and off the hotel list of recommended restaurants, and ideas for a tourist visiting the nearby Portsmouth area for a first time. Overall, a reasonable cost for an excellent stay.

The Springhill Suites on Exeter Rd is our go to. Quite clean, and a staff that seems really dedicated to a great guest experience. If there is an issue, they resolve it if they know about it. This is from firsthand experience.
Breakfast service is excellent. The whole hotel has everything we like and I recommend it for anyone who is ok paying more and getting more.
We stayed May 16-19 2024 and were very satisfied with the facility and our 2 queen room.

We spent a night here while on the way to Maine. The hotel is very easy to get to as it’s not very far from the highway. Plenty of parking available. The hotel lobby is clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It only took a few minutes to get checked in. The room was very clean and quiet. We didn’t hear any noise from the outside or from other guests. There’s food available as well as restaurants nearby.

My grandkids and I stayed here. This is our last night here, and we loved it. There isn’t anything bad to say. The room looks just like the pictures, very modern and clean. The lobby is nice & clean, elevator, hallways, etc. We got to enjoy the small pool. The pool isn’t that big so keep in my mind it’s winter, so it gets crowded. Kids enjoyed it. We will check out breakfast that they offer free of charge tomorrow morning. Will definitely stay again.

Best SpringHill suites we stayed in on a 6 hotel, 8 day family trip. Ladies at the front desk were so helpful and friendly. Wish we had more time there. Everything was clean and well kept.

I needed a place to stay for a procedure at Portsmouth Regional Hospital and this location had quick access (15 minutes) to that location. There is a high end restaurant next door and many more about a 7 minute drive away.
The facility and rooms were exceptionally clean and the layout while different than a standard hotel room was much more functional.
Staff was very friendly and quick. And the free breakfast was actually really good. A nice surprise compared to most free breakfast offerings. Good bacon, a breakfast sandwich that was better than McDonald's and fresh fruits. Even the oatmeal was good (I'm a picky oatmeal eater). I only stayed one night and due to my medical procedure could not use the pool area, but it looked clean as well.
The place was perfect for my mid week stay.

We stayed at this hotel for a night while on a trip to New England, and we were very impressed. It was over Labor Day weekend and we were able to snag two rooms at a reasonable price for our group. We were all very impressed with how clean the entire property was. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff was all very nice, and we were even allowed to park one of our cars in the lot all day while we were sightseeing, even before we checked in. And the breakfast...whoa. Possibly the best motel breakfast selection I have ever seen. We would gladly stay here again if we are back that way. Great job, compliments to management and the entire staff!!

Spent two nights here and really enjoyed my stay. The hotel itself is in a great location where it's easily accessible to the highway, and only a 10 minute drive to Hampton Beach or portsmouth. The Staff was really nice with a great free breakfast.

Our room was very spacious and clean! The hotel is in immaculate condition. My family also enjoyed the breakfast options.

Location is easy on/off ramp access too!

My girlfriend and I just stayed here for a few days. We were both impressed by how clean the entire hotel was. The breakfast was awesome every morning. More importantly we were both impressed by the customer service from the entire staff. This location has awesome management. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and amenities. Keep up the great work SpringHill Suites Portsmouth.

Excellent Hotel! Spotless - Ultra Friendly Staff - Great amenities.

This has been the best hotel experience I've had on this trip. It is the cheapest price wise that we've found. But it is the nicest and biggest room we've had. The shower is new, with glass a glass door and not the curtains, a large bathroom... Beds are comfortable.

Pillows were packing and only had 3 pillows for a queen instead of 4.

I wish we could have stayed here longer.

Okay location, off highway and not too far from Hampton Beach. Room was on same side as highway, and definitely some road noise, but otherwise nice hotel and friendly service. First night we checked in and hotel staff were doing a fundraiser for Children's Hospital giving away root beer floats. Nice experience would consider returning if staying in the area.

We used this hotel for our guests for our wedding weekend and the experience working with Charlene was so great. She was always so attentive and timely in answering questions. She allowed us to drop off guests bags that her team distributed upon arrival to the hotel. Charlene and her team ensured all the guests got onto the bus in a timely manner which allowed for our wedding day to run smoothly. We also heard great reviews about the hotel room, breakfast and gym space from our guests!

Stayed here on the way to bar harbor. Super clean and nice hotel and great rooms and breakfast. Bathroom situation is a bit weird, right by the bed can hear everything and the light shines thru when sleeping. Overall great!

All the staff was amazing. Smiles and happy vibes! The hotel rooms were immaculate clean. 👌 this isn’t Alabama where rooms are dirty and full of dust. Salute! The staff made our stay great. Titanium elite i dont always review mariotts unless they mess up. Its not a fancy hotel but they clean

I come here every time I take a class at the sig academy. In the perfect location being so close to both Hampton beach and Portsmouth. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast being included is very convenient, especially having to go to the sig academy early in the morning for class. If looking for a Marriott quality hotel at a fair price, this is the one

We just got back from a great weekend for our third time staying at this hotel. Each year gets better. Jacob, at the front desk, was not only genuinely kind and caring, he congratulated us on our anniversary in the sweetest way. He was so much fun to talk to and honestly a real gem for this hotel to the point that my husband and I looked forward to seeing him each morning for a quick chat. Friendly beyond words. I'd also like the thank the quick and very attentive gentleman, Alvin, who runs the morning breakfast. He made sure items were filled very quickly so any wait was very brief. Just lovely. The kind young man taking care of our room for housekeeping was lovely as well. He made sure we had any toiletries we needed and always with a smile. Our kids were very happy with the quality of the pool, they were constantly going swimming in it. We look forward to returning to this hotel each summer, not only for the much needed vacation and beach, but also for the truly wonderful staff of the hotel. A great collection of employees and the place seems to run as perfectly as possible even through any hiccups that come along. Thank you again for the great stay! ❤

Great location!! Easy drive to the beaches (for surf, fireworks, arcades), Pawtuckaway State Park, Portsmouth, and more!! Awesome staff and great breakfast to start the day! We’ve stayed here two summers in a row and will be back again

I stayed here for several months while working up in New England and it's the Best choice and Great Staff there is this chef he is awesome cooking. Stop by for a get away you will come back here and thank me later. Lover you guys
