Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the Crab Roll. With each bite, you're transported to the shores of the Atlantic, as the delicate sweetness of the crab meat harmonizes with the buttery softness of the roll. The balance of flavors is exquisite, leaving you craving for more with every mouthful.

What sets Hampton Al's Crab Roll apart is the generous portion of succulent crab meat, expertly seasoned and perfectly complemented by a hint of citrus. Every ingredient feels thoughtfully curated, enhancing the overall dining experience.

To accompany this culinary delight, Hampton Al's offers a variety of sides and beverages, ensuring there's something for every palate. Whether you prefer classic fries or opt for a refreshing salad, each dish is crafted with the same dedication to taste and presentation.

The ambiance at Hampton Al's Seafood is quintessentially coastal - relaxed and inviting. Whether you're enjoying a meal with friends or treating yourself to a solo dining experience, you'll feel right at home amidst the charming decor and friendly service.

In conclusion, Hampton Al's Seafood Crab Roll is a triumph of taste and texture, a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs and the commitment of the restaurant to providing an unforgettable dining experience. If you find yourself cruising along Route 1, make sure to stop by Hampton Al's for a taste of coastal bliss. Your taste buds will thank you.

We made a special trip to Al's Seafood because it was rated high and we weren't disappointed. Part of Al's Fish and Seafood Market, the restaurant is the left bldg. You order on a big billboard at a counter then you exit to the right and enter the main dining area where they serve your food fresh. Really easy to order.

We ordered a cup of clam chowder, hot lobster roll and clam strips and fries. Chowder came first piping hot which is exactly how a chowder should be. Arguably some of the best chowder I've ever had in my life! You can really taste the fresh clams without them overwhelming the chowder. Nice chunks of potatoes, spiced and salted just right. Lobster roll was perfection. A gratuitous amount of fresh lobster in melted butter all heaped on a nicely toasted roll. Perfect amount of butter so as it didn't soak into the roll. Similarly to the clam chowder, the clam strips we're fresh as if they were just caught today. Nice side of crispy fries and a good slaw rounded out the lunch time meal. An honorable mention- -their tartar sauce was just awesome! Well balanced tangy/creamy deliciousness. We were actually full but kept eating the fries for that reason.

The only nitpick things are that it's expensive (just seems to be the trend these days) and the clam strips could have been cooked a little bit longer. But that's more my preference. I like very crispy clam strips. Does not take away from the high rating. Final note--Staff were friendly, helpful and checked on us frequently.

I **HIGHLY** recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner at Al's Seafood for an all-round fantastic seafood meal.

We got take out orders of the grilled Atlantic salmon and the swordfish. They were excellent! Very fresh and perfectly cooked. Generous portions. Sides were also very good. We’ll definitely go back!

A hidden gem! I’m from Atlantic Canada and rarely get seafood as good as home, even in New England. I had the whole belly clams and fries and they were sooo good. Perfectly fried and not gritty at all. Fries were delicious. Tartar sauce is nice and tangy. They even had white vinegar which is a must for any Bluenoser. We had pumpkin cheesecake for dessert which, other than being still a little frozen in the middle, was creamy and delicious. Totally worth a return visit.

Loved the lobster 🦞 roll, no fillings or extras, just lobster meat. Best lobster roll I’ve had in New England.
The fry Cod and Calamari was spot one, cooked and seasoned perfectly.
Simple process, order at the window and take a seat inside if dining in or take out.
They call your number and everything is in the bag.
Can’t wait to be back in the area again, always happy to find good places to enjoy a meal and this is one of them for sure.

Al’s is simply the best seafood in North Hampton/Rye/Portsmouth area. They have excellent selection of fresh food, reasonably priced, friendly and consistent. Their premade food is great too. They’ve ruined me for baked stuffed Shrimp, and stuffed sole anywhere else. Their seafood stuffing is the best I’ve had and everything else pales in comparison. Their fish cakes are my favorite. I’ve never really been overly interested in fish cakes, but these are so delicious and perfect for a light dinner or lunch.

We wanted to try lobster rolls on the boardwalk here at Hampton Beach but so glad we didn’t. Al’s Seafood 🦞 was delicious! The lobster by itself without butter or anything was amazing!!! Best lobster we’ve had for sure! The service was really great and everyone was super friendly! 10/10 recommend!!!

Great fresh seafood. If you like seafood, this is the place. Fresh seafood Market adjoining the restaurant. Basic place but can't knock the food. My girlfriend had the lobster roll, just lobster with some mayo, basic but perfect and overstuffed roll. I had a freid haddock sandwich. Again, simple but nicely cooked fish. Some nice beers to choose from.

Went up for some fried oysters today and they were worth the trip. Absolutely cooked to perfection. And the counter help was very friendly and helpful. Sat out side on the picnic tables enjoyed the breeze. Will be back again soon update went back again today and had the lobster roll absolutely the best in the area. See the picture now that's a lobster roll. Went back again tried the fried scallops absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try more of their menu items.

First time eating here after reading it was voted one of the best seafood in Hampton. We tried the fried clam roll, onion rings and chicken fingers with ff. Very good and I will definitely be going back.

Yum! We stopped by on a Saturday evening and it was packed with a line out the door - always a good sign for good eating! We ordered the fried shrimp and fried haddock. Good portions and a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. With COVID19 guidelines, all drinks are bottled or cans. The outdoor area is nice and shaded by pines as well.

Once I figured out the ordering system I was ok. The food is excellent and the outside seating is wonderful. Very nice portions. For salad, calamari, octopus, and oysters. So good after a long drive in from PA.

Great fresh seafood. Unique single window for ordering. Place your order and then dine either inside or at one of the many picnic tables. Outside speaker can be easily heard at the picnic tables. Traffic was backed up getting into the parking lot, but they helpfully provided a parking lot attendant to help the process. The wait wasn't too bad. Had the baked scallops, haddock, and shrimp meal. The wife fried haddock and small shrimp. Definitely recommend.

This is a nice place. You order outside for either ear in or take out. They bring your food to you. Good fast service and nice wait staff. I had the shrimp cocktail and the lobster roll. Best I ever had. Highly recommend.

Best Lobster stew I have had in a long time! Sorry Billy’s Chowder house in Maine, this place has you beat! Lobster roll was stuffed with lobster! What an awesome place!
Very clean, tables inside and out. Although it was busy, food came out quickly! Husband had triple lobster dinner. Prices are descent. Gonna have to try more things! Maybe lunch tomorrow??

Great value for the seafood platter and stuffed sole. It was pretty loud inside, but we were still able to enjoy our meal.

I've been to others what I call seafood shacks.
And Al's ranks high. I'm also not a seafood person, but I like my clam stripes. The clam strip boat is the perfect amount for a meal.
So Al's is worthy of 10 stars.

Excellent find for seafood. I had baked haddock with butternut squash. It was excellent. I also sampled fried scallops onion rings and fries. They were also very good. Clean seating area with nice fireplace at one end. Plenty of parking.
