Let me tell youuuuuuu. Maj & Anthony are amazing professional and knowledgeable mechanics. I can definitely say over time they have gained my trust and I'm so grateful for them. Honest and respectful people are so hard to come by, not only are they truthful but I am confident that my car is in great hands always and the problems will be fixed in an affordable and honest manner. I've been working with them for over six months and they have never disappointed, highly Recommended. These words aren't enough to express their integrity and honesty.

Our family has used him for over 20 years. I trust him wholeheartedly. He changed my son's prius lights for free, my son bought the lights. I believe he is one of the rare ones who loves his job and helping others. His prices are much more then fair. I can't recommend Maj's more than enough!!!

Maj has been my most trusted and reliable mechanic since I moved to the area two years ago. He is exceptionally skilled at diagnosing problems, educating his customers on the issue, and providing them with a professionally informed set of options for how best to repair their car. I've had well over ten work orders on various components across two cars, and every single time I've worked with Maj I'm confident that I've been given well-informed, well-intentioned options at a price that is fair for his excellent work. I would recommend Maj to anyone, and he is my preferred mechanic by far.

I just moved to troy a few months ago, I grew up having my step dad fix my cars but just moved two hrs away. So it was really hard for me to branch out and find a shop. I reached out to Maj due to all these awesome reviews and i can see why! Maj was honest with my fiancé and I, even showed us the work which means a lot as a female walking into a shop. He even worked his magic and fix the problem i came in there for. I know my car still needs a decent amount of work, we will def be going to Maj from this day forward. Thank you so much Maj!

As a young female, you never know how you're going to be treated walking into a mechanic's. Maj is by far the most genuine, honest mechanic I've ever worked with! Absolutely recommend!

I brought my car to Maj a week ago for a rubbing noise in my brakes. On my way there, my check engine light came on. 🙄 He took the car for a ride with me to hear the noise, put it up on the lift and showed me exactly what the issue was, taking the time to explain the problem, show me defective vs. new parts and answer all my questions. He also noticed little things, like the heat shield bolts rusting letting me know that I might hear rattling soon. Then he ran the code for my check engine light and ran through the possibilities and what he would do. I'm sure I could have sat in his office and waited but he was more than happy to have me right there - the transparency was refreshing! I was probably there for 30-45 minutes asking questions and he didn't charge me!

Then when it came time to get it fixed, he was flexible with my schedule since I was local. He kept me informed on each step and possible issues, giving me all the worst case scenarios to be prepared for which can be a little scary but makes you prepared for it! When I went to pick it up, Maj showed me what he did under the hood, showed me the faulty part - again the transparency was appreciated! And his rates are very reasonable! I had 'fact checked' all the information he gave me all along with a knowledgeable friend and it checked out!

Maj is the real deal, a rare find these days! I'll be a customer for as long as I'm in the area!

Maji from Maj Auto Center is knowledgeable, kind, honest, and fair - both him how he treats customers and in his pricing. I had a series of minor things I’d been putting off as I wasn’t driving much during that pandemic so needed to get a variety of things fixed, then return for an inspection and oil change. Maji talked me through what was needed, proposed options for the various repairs (including options that weren’t at his shop), and kept me updated on progress over a series of visits. I live in Albany and will happily brave Hoosick Street rush hour traffic to visit him for future service, which is saying something!

They took the time to explain everything to my husband on the phone My kids go to RPI and have never dealt with a mechanic! Extra professional, kind and caring! The price was extremely amazing! Fixed the truck and knew exactly what was wrong!! Highly recommend!!

I needed to get a taillight bulb replaced asap and he was one of the few places still open that night. He agreed to stay open an extra half hour so I could make it there on time and completed the job in front of me in five minutes. Afterwards, he inspected the rest of the lights to make sure I was all set and noticed a fog light was out. I went back about a month later to have that bulb replaced as well (I'm ever the procrastinator) and both times he was nice to me and didn't charge me for either job.

I couldn't have asked for better service from everyone there. Everything was explained to me in detail. Reasonable pricied .They explained what future work I would need and the time frame it which it should be done . I truly appreciate finding this garage and the mechanics that I now call my own 😊

Fast turnaround time, kind, informative, and very honest. We don’t live very close but because of our experience, we plan to use Maj’s for our future repairs. Highly recommend!!
