Eagle Wings Academy

Eagle Wings Academy is an amazing school. While focusing heavily on behavior management, this school and it's staff utilize positive reinforcement, trauma informed teaching, and small group instruction to ensure that every students' individual needs are being addressed. Not all students learn the same and EWA staff know that better than most. Their teachers, administrators, aides, nurse, and cafeteria staff are trained in CPI techniques and use them only as a last resort. The effort that goes into each student to ensure their safety, confidence, and access to a proper education is admirable. I worked for EWA for 9 years and leaving was the hardest decision of my career. This is truely a family atmosphere built on trust, care, and perseverance. It takes a lot to teach students who have behavioral needs and who feel like they are a "problem". At EWA, these students get to grow and find out who they really are. They make connections with their peers and the staff and develop into some of the most wonderful young people. EWA serves students from kindergarten to twelfth grade with evidence backed behavioral and educational strategies that meet state curriculum requirements. This school is by far one of the best!

My son has attended for 4 years and has learned the skills he needed to transition back to public school. The administrators and teachers gave my son the support and dedication he needed to succeed. I would happily refer eaglewing academy to anyone needing behavioral placement. The teachers were texting and calling weekly if they needed to talk about his behavior but also called to share his successes.

I love this place. My son graduated 2 years ago. He has Aspergers. The teachers and staff are the most dedicated and caring I’ve ever seen. They did wonders with Josh. Choosing this school was one of the best decisions we ever made

I got there as a troubled person but within a month I was already on the track to turning myself around into a better student and overal person. The staff was very kind and treated me like almost a equal with respect as long as I treated them with it too.

My daughter has a wide range of mental disorders and requires very specific and special people and eagle wings academy staff is 100% amazing people they treat you like they are family.
