Melt Bar and Grilled

We recently moved back to Ohio. It's been about 15 years since my husband was there. The place was clean. The service was awesome!! My Reuben was amazing! Oh and hand cut home fries, yes please!! We'll definitely be back!! 👍🏼👍🏼

I didn't get my 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon, but the Hot Italian with bacon was pretty spectacular. Worth the 8 hour drive from NC to enjoy Melt. Please build one near Raleigh NC.

I stopped here for dinner while traveling, ate at the bar alone and had half a sandwich with fries, and a beer. Food was excellent, they were out of the bread for the sandwich I ordered, and offered a substitution, it was excellent. Service was quick, though they seemed understaffed. Food came out of the kitchen faster than I expected, and price was good, as expected for one person.
Beer menu is extensive, many craft options on draft or bottle/can

This place was made for everyone. The vegan/vegetarian options aren't an afterthought. They are wonderful!

Also, the deep-fried Peanut butter and Banana sandwich is the best thing I've eaten years! 🥪

Food was great, waitress was wonderful and they even gave us a free dessert for my girlfriend's mom's birthday!!

Great food and environment the staff were really friendly they also have a bar area which is really nice the decor is what makes this place comforting i recommend if you like local places

Amazing food & service! I had the mom’s meatloaf sandwich and the watermelon cucumber salad. Husband had the Cuban war pig sandwich and the tomato soup which was real chunky tomato soup and no Campbells watered down version. All of the food was amazing & portions large enough that we will have a half sandwich for our next meal as well. We will definitely be back to try more.

Had a nice Wake & Bacon this morning. Almost knocked me out. Served toasted and cheesy, with a gooey sunny-side up egg and crispy bacon. Vinegar-based coleslaw to balance things out. Couldn't finish the plate so I took half to go. Nice patio area available. Fully stocked fridge and bar. Inside decoration is warm and welcoming, just like the menu. This chain is only in Ohio for now, and they sure seem to know a bit about the area. Countless pieces of art and history, many of which related to Akron. Wonderful service and experience.

We had an absolute blast going to this place for lunch. The bartender / waiter he was absolutely phenomenal.

We had the mighty macaroni we decided to split one whole one and we're glad we did even just half of that sandwich is massive.

I got a lemonade margarita that was amazing, only issue was how weak the alcohol content was.

My girlfriend enjoyed the French fries, I have really high standards for French fries so they were meh for me.

Loved EVERYTHING! The atmosphere, the food (Monte Cristo w/ homemade chips and French onion dip) the service!! Try the PB& J cocktail 🍹

The place is priced a little high! But the portions make up for that. Plus, the food was great. The fries were more salted then I like. Still, the meal was great and I got full! My drink was a strawberry daiquiri. It was in a regular glass with no suger around the rim. I did ask for that. Was not a fan of the coffee. The food alone deserves the 5 🌟! The Waiter also did a great job!

Came here for the BVH vegan pop up night, and wow. 10/10 one of the best meals ever. Started with tofu wings, and then got 2 sandwiches to share. Pretty excited to go back and get the October featured sandwich veganized

This place was awesome. There are many melts to choose from or several mac and cheese options or salad options too. The sandwiches are loaded up! I went with 2 other people and all of us got full sandwiches and we all only ate one half and took the rest home. They give you a very generous amount of food. Very nice atmosphere and staff. A nice selection of beer on tap and many beers in bottle to choose from. I will be going back here again.

We love to dine in and I love the sandwiches, but honestly for me I really enjoy the take out salad portions. They always load up the take out box (where a lot of other restaurants totally skimp) and the vegetarian French onion soup is amazing! The breaded tofu is always tasty.

Finally got a chance to visit a Melt restaurant and I'd say this was a solid 4.5 star experience. The customer service was top notch and I really liked the vibe of the place. My sandwich, the Dark Side Parmaggenator, was absolutely delicious with pierogi, kielbasa, and vodka Kraut. Some of the other food others in our group had ranged from mediocre (kids Mac N Cheese) to good (Cleveland cheesesteak), but my sandwich being so good and the great customer service convinced me to do 5 stars instead of 4 since Google doesn't do half stars. Can't wait to come back again and try something different! Also, seriously LOVE the Star Wars special menu for May! 🤓

I live 2 hrs away i come up for doctor's appointments and this place is definitely a too go place.. trust me you wont be disappointed. Everyone is friendly and food is always fresh n hot and you get alot for ur money..

The legend of a grilled cheese dedicated restaurant brought me here, but I couldn’t help try the monte cristo; a deep fried version. Yes they pulled off a deep fried sandwich and it was amazing

The food was delicious! There's some good looking new choices on the menu. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The wait time for a table was shorter than expected. It's a great place to eat and hang out with friends.

A lil quirky, a tad bit unique, but a whole lotta fun! Great atmosphere, cool bartenders, and the food... OMG, THE FOOD!!! Bring your appetite, because the servings sizes are enough to feed Godzilla. And the flavor tastes like it's straight from heaven. With two appetizers, two whole (not half) sandwiches, and four beers, I spent just over fifty bucks. And there are places where I have been that I have gotten less, and spent more. Not many restaurants can compare to this. Do yourself a favor, and become a regular!

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! As an Ohio vegan, Melt Bar and Grilled was definitely one of the first places I discovered. I swear to gracious, if you're vegan and haven't been here, what are you doing?! My favorite is the vegan chorizo and potato with cheddar - ADD TOFU BACON. Better yet, get a side of vegan cowboy sauce for your french fries. Yes, you can thank me later. If you're still need some more carbs (because let's be frank, carbs are NOT the enemy) their mashed potatoes are vegan too!

There is so much to choose from! I enjoy their buffalo tofu wings, Parma Italy, and the Beyond Burger! Oomph, now I'm hungry? To be honest, I've had their kindergarten (just plain grilled cheese) with tomato soup and have been JUST as satisfied.

The best experience I had there was a few weeks ago when I went and did NOT enjoy something I had. They sent someone over to me, we discussed, and they even took it off my bill. They truly care about their customers here and that's apparent in the service I get every time.
