Nice place to shop for mother

I like shopping in the WC J.Jill store. However, some of the sales associates make me feel inadequate. After I complained on their web site, things got better but still I feel like an underdog when I go there. I may be wrong, but I have a feeling that some of the salespersons perceive me like one of their non traditional customers - middle class , (american standards) white women. I never have someone helping me, not that I need it but it is kind of insulting. I have not encountered similar treatment in any other store. Maybe the management of WC J.Jill will educate their salespersons and remind them that CA is a diverse state and they should respect all customers. Because money has no race, ethnicity, etc.

Wasn't really my style. Modern contemporary clothing store. Prices are somewhat expensive. However, if you like nicely tailored clothes wuth muted or monochrome colors then this is the place for you. Simplicity is the general style.

The place itself is fine. My complaint is the fact that this company has no concept of sizing. I gave up on JJill almost 10 yrs ago. Tried on a couple things and they still don’t know how to size clothing. Don’t know the rational behind it but it’s silly. I am a size 2-4. Xs/s. Their XS is still like a medium. Come on people. Look at all the complaints on your site and start making clothes correctly! Even the sales people seem tired of this issue. “Yeah we make our clothes to big” she said yesterday. No kidding!

Bad customer service. Only 2 salespeople, 1 helping another customer, 1 folding clothes on display. No other customers. I asked the folding salesperson (older asian woman with black frame glasses)to return an item; she acknowledged me, but continued to fold for several minutes while I waited at the register. Barely acknowledged me when she finally came to process my return, no hello, thank you, or anything.

I was in Walnut Creek store last Saturday to check up what do you have in the store. Around 2 - 3 pm. One of the Sales Associate never greeted me, never smiled nothing. Loock that she is no happy working in the store. She loocked frustraded because most the custumers were at the clearence area. Or maybe they get comision for the regular price merchandise.and seeing all customer looking the clearence, It made sence. I did not have her name but she has black short hair and reading black glases.

If this company gets your email address they will harass you until you die. Stay away from their website.
