Veterans Plaza

We went to the Memorial Day events here this year (2022). We really enjoyed everything!! The festivities, tents, speakers, fly over, all were top notch! We brought our four kids and everyone felt very grateful and patriotic for the country we live in. We’re grateful for Veterans Plaza for working so hard to keep our memories and freedom close to mind. Thank you!!

Awesome tribute to Our Nation’s Heroes!

This place is absolutely beautiful, they always have wonderful events, the park is well maintained and cared for, there's a great dog park right next to it, and it seems just like a great all-around place for people to go for walks, tennis, visit the dog park, or just to hang out and enjoy the beauty that is Colorado. What I love about the most is they actually do care for their veterans there's great memorials, great memorial events, and it's just all in all a wonderful place to sit reflect and enjoy one of the beauties of Colorado and America.

I had a wonderful experience viewing the Vietnam War Memorial Wall replica. The volunteers were so helpful! The veteran who played taps that evening did an amazing job of it. It was exactly the kind of thing I was hoping it would be as I took time to honor my heroic, fallen family member.

I am very happy for this site being here. It is simply done and very respectful. There is a computerized veterans registry as well and I believe you can submit any veteran's name online. The idea of donating soils from notable locations around the world is a good one, but I don't know how to transport samples, I think there are agricultural import restrictions for reasons of pests and disease. There used to be poppies here that were originally from Flanders Field but sadly, they have not been retruned to the flower beds for a few years now.
