I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this Safeway recently! While browsing the bakery section, I stumbled upon a fantastic yellow monster cake that turned out to be the perfect centerpiece for my cousin's birthday celebration. Gracy (I think her name was), was incredibly helpful and guided me through the process, ensuring that I could purchase the cake hassle-free.

The variety of cakes, ranging from charming monster cupcakes to elegant floral designs, showcased an impressive level of artistry. It was evident that the bakers and decorators at Safeway take great pride in their work, and their passion for baking truly shines through in their creations. I had the pleasure of speaking with Cella, THE cake decorator, who patiently answered all my questions about the cake-making process, displaying a deep knowledge of her craft. Her expertise and enthusiasm for cake decorating was evident, reinforcing my confidence in this Safeway's talented staff. With such a remarkable cake selection and a team of talented and friendly staff, this Safeway has undoubtedly become my go-to destination for high-quality baked goods!

I think the Safeway on Drake is the nicest Safeway in Fort Collins. They have people working at this store that use to work at the old Safeway on 287. I think the produce at this store can compare to WholeFoods or Sprouts. The store is very clean They have a big self checkout and nice parking lot. There is a hardware store next door, a gas station and a poudre feed store close by so that is an added good feature

Safeway.. has what you need. There is even a Claw coin operated machine to try and win stuff toys out of. Also this location on Drake and the one on Harmony are currently open later than King Soopers and Walmart. Call the stores for hours. The Google times often need updating.

Best safeway in town. Friendly staff, good sales, never too crowded, close to home. Closest to sw FoCo

I go here regularly, and the service is usually pretty good. I went a couple times recently, and checked out with Andrew. Late 20s early 30s, glasses, medium length dark hair. Today I did not check out with him as I did self checkout, and sure enough he was gladly helping out a customer with a good attitude. Great attitude, applied a coupon for me that I didn't have, and informed me that I missed a free item that was buy one get one free. Quick, polite, and helpful. I hope he receives recognition and reward for outstanding service.

From zero to hero - how this location went from 1 star to 5 stars over two years. When I first moved to Ft. Collins, I had a terrible experience here with a chicken salad sandwich with no chicken. It was the worst shopping experience I've ever had. But recently, I had the best experience, with a very friendly cashier, JJ. They were very kind and made a late-night dinner run into a memorable interaction.

Theresa is almost always my cashier and is always, always nice and polite to me! Everyone there is always nice, but Theresa is an awesome employee!!

In my experience, Safeway is the most underrated store in Colorado. They always have great deals and, because they are so overlooked, they are always a lot less busy than other stores. This was my first time at this particular Safeway, and it was very clean and nicely set up. I only waited behind one other person for a cashier. Pleasant experience.

It was crowed but everyone there should feel blessed that the store was open on Christmas Day. Thank you Safeway employees for giving up your Christmas time with your family so we can get things for ours.

I didn't visit the main store, but the new gas station & mini mart. The service and convenience of the layout and in/out access is nice and appreciated. The cashier was informative about the store layout and friendly while professional, something you don't always encounter in a mini mart... hence the 5 star rating.

I love the layout and stocked shelves! The employees are all very nice and cheerful.

This Safeway is hands down the best. They are always stalked, helpful and kind. Their produce is in great order, meat department always stalked and fresh with great deals and the rest of their products circulate enough that you never grab expired items like you do at other locations. Don’t forget to stop by their deli department and get some of their fresh food too cause they never let it get old.

Jacob was so helpful!! Such a kind and considerate employee who promptly helped us with a missing bag of groceries for pick up. I highly recommend this store, every single employee we’ve encountered here has been wonderful. Extra appreciative to Jacob for his help today!!

My daughter and I visited this location a few nights ago for a last minute grocery run. We visit this store quite often and always have a good experience but this other night was extra special. As we were checking out I used the last bit of money I had on my bank card and had a little cash as well. I ended up $2 short. I was so embarrased I wasn't quite sure what to do. And there were two people behind me...it was at that moment that the very nice cashier, Adam, pulled out his wallet and paid the $2 out of his personal money. I was so extremely touched. I told him he didnt have to but he insisted. I was so appreciative. I thanked him and left the store in such a happy mood. My ten year old daughter was extremely impressed. We talked about it the rest of the night. It may not seem like a huge deal to others but it was to my daughter and I. That helped us out in a big way! Thank you so much Adam. I hope you read this. That was such a kind deed. Thank you!!!!

I love this store. Drake & Taft. Pharmacy staff is AMAZING!!! Robyn & CC are so good 2 me. I recently returned 2 this store due to pharmacy at College & Mulberry closing. I miss that staff very much. Robyn recognized me immediately. I hadn't seen her in 4 yrs. Made me feel great. I have been very ill for last 4 months due 2 surgery & horrific infection. The whole staff has taken such good care of me. Their support & concern has made a huge positive impact on my recovery. Than u pharmacists & staff. I appreciate u guys so much. Customer service gal is so happy, upbeat, & positive. This store ROCKS!!!! Thank all of you for being happy helpful people in a world that seems to care little about customer service anymore, this store is opposite. Makes huge difference. I drive 40 minutes & past 30 other places I could get my groceries & prescriptions. Their smiles make every mile worth it. Thank you Robyn, CC, & Mike. I recommend your store to every one.

The store itself is pretty nice the checkout lines are horribly horribly long a lot of the time they need to staff more courtesy clerks and have more registers open during their busy times of the day and rely less on the self check option it's nice to have if you have a few items to get real quick but not when you have a lot of groceries and produce that needs to be looked up....the pharmacy in this store is the best I've ever experienced EVER!! Amazing people working with you always go out of there way to help you no matter the situation and just a joy to work with!!! The 5 stars I gave this Safeway all go to the wonderful people the have wiring for the in their pharmacy!!!

It's a great store! It's always clean, well stocked, and the employees are helpful and friendly! I specifically went to the pharmacy today for a vaccine, and they were very efficient, friendly, and professional!

It was easy to find my way around the store. The self-checkout was also very easy to use, and the person working to supervise the self-checkout station was attentive and helpful. Visiting that store was very enjoyable and I would return again at my first opportunity.

Because I work there in the pharmacy and Ft. Collins has the best customers. We have a special promotion going on now until the end of the year 2017. With a new or transferred prescription you can receive up to 75.00 in gift cards. There are some rules and regulations that have to be met but you won't know if you don't try.
