New Management has done a great job preserving the atmosphere and quality. Service is wonderful with long tenure and experience. Food is delicious. Be sure to get some cinnamon rolls to go!

Lots of locals , the Fish and Chips was pretty amazing, great tarter sauce and very filling. They have local craft brews , the staff was overly friendly and quick. Down to earth good food.

Vern’s is a great place for a delicious meal in a family-friendly environment. Although know for their breakfast, we enjoyed their classic chicken fried steak—it’s a winner! We highly suggest stepping next door for a visit to their gift shop and trying one of their giant cinnamon rolls on your way out!

I recently hosted a 70th Birthday Party for myself. I decided to have a breakfast, so friends & family could come & celebrate & then have time for themselves in the afternoon.

I love Vern’s cinnamon rolls and I knew they would be better than a cake.

I placed an order for 50 guest. The scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, fruit tray were ready for me to pick up at the allotted time.

The guest had nothing but positive feedback on the food & especially the cinnamon rolls. Also, the bacon was a big hit. The fruit tray was beautiful and delicious. Scrambled eggs were kept warm.

The General Manager, Paul, was a delight to work with.

Great atmosphere, food, and customer service! I got the angus country fried steak. Very good. Same for the cinnamon roll!

We rolled through on an afternoon drive through the countryside. I enjoyed the fried chicken dinner. Everything was top notch. Great service, delicious food and attentive service. The guy next to us was telling dad jokes to his kids. That makes everything a 6 star!

Vern’s Place is a very quaint and peaceful place to eat some delicious homemade food. Everything tastes like it’s right from mom’s kitchen. Best burger I’ve had in a very long time. Large beef patties, green leaf lettuce, and REAL pickles! Big ones! 🤤 The fries and onion rings are spot on. The ranch dressing was a little thin, but still tasty. The waitresses are very sweet and genuine. It was the perfect place to take in the view after a drive in the mountains.

I had the sausage gravy and biscuits, and it literally tasted like what grandma makes. The gravy was creamy, peppery, and had a lot of sausage in it, and the biscuits seemed homemade. The views were beautiful, too. The only complaint was the coffee - one creamer turned it white, lol, it was terrible, very weak and thin. But that might have just been a one off, I'd still go back.

Stopped to get a coffee and a cinnamon roll. YOU MUST get a warm cinnamon roll from here. Do not take home to eat (they do have package rolls to take home so buy those instead) Sit at a table, get a beverage and a warm roll. And enjoy.. it's almost a religious experience. Indulge -

Such a great place to eat! Whether a weekend morning stop on the patio before a hike or a weeknight dinner with family it is a great environment that's inviting, welcoming, and has a wonderful comfort food menu! Most of all, the staff is so accomodating and pleasant.

Nice place to go to for breakfast or any drive that got you out that way before headed back to town.

Classic Americana. Awesome mounts of various animals on the wall. Great service in a sleepy area. Best black and blu burger I’ve had in a while. Darn good cinnamon buns.

The Krautburgers..Cinnamon Rolls..and Pecan Rolls were so very delicious..as was the salad..fries and onion rings. Will definitively go again. Thank you for such great food.

Truly a perfect stop. The service was top notch and our server, Ava, was one of the very best servers we have ever had. She was knowledgeable about the menu, helpful, kind, welcoming and friendly. The meals were filling and tasty. We would gladly make this a regular stop if we lived in the area.

I loved the food and service here. The view was also stunning. Get a cinnamon roll for the road they are well worth it!

Were new to the area and this is our favorite local place to grab a bite or cocktails. Its never busy, the people are the friendliest and they have amazing food

I've been coming out to Ft Collins 15-20 times a year for the past 6 years and just found this place today - I wish I would've found it 6 years ago.

I had the breakfast burrito without the tortilla and it was absolutely fantastic!! I can't wait until the next time I'm out here because this place will definitely be a regular place to stop from now on.

Oh, and one more thing - the wait staff was very pleasant and responsive. A real treat

Great food! We ate here while waiting for our white water rafting experience (Wanderlust). The food was really good, grilled cheese for kids and I had the turkey avocado bacon sandwhich. Great location, friendly staff, so glad this was here.

I have ordered breakfast 3 times this week and each time it was amazing. I have ordered the breakfast burrito, Laporte skillet and the country fried steak so far! Great service and fast food

The food was absolutely delicious but the star of the show was the giant cinnamon roll! Would definitely recommend!
