Bayside Area Library

Great library, I love coming here to read or study. Only thing I would change is have the librarians be more considerate of their noise. I have never been in a library where the librarians are the loudest people in the building with their conversations and laughter. Glad to see them happy though

Staff was right on point to take my returns. I returned back to her with my new videos and she quickly checked them out for me. Library was surprisly busy to me on an early Monday morning. So nice to see so many mothers and a few fathers with their children.

It is a small, quiet library. The inventory of materials here is small but I search what I need online throughout the system and pick up here. Service is courteous and efficient. The location is convenient for the neighborhood. Parking is never a problem.

The employees working at this library are so helpful and kind. The building itself is clean and well kept. It’s a joy to come here and browse the isles. With the substantial online catalogue of audiobooks and even streaming movies, on top of the 100s of dvd’s and games available for check out, ALL FOR FREE, it’s the best deal in town.

Nice place to work with nice individual desks and warmly lit lamps for working. Children are reading and playing and some people talk every once in awhile, but they are not terribly disruptive (maybe because it’s a weekday afternoon before 5). Librarians very nice and helpful!

Great spot to spend time with kids, perfect size to find what you need and relax in a corner for some quiet time.

We LOVE this library. The children's librarians here are amazing and always go above and beyond. They get to know your kids when you attend children's programs and are always happy to see them. The variety of programs available here is excellent and it quickly becomes a second home.

Great library!! Real nice for kids, didn’t see any homeless sleeping in the study either. Great story times for the wee ones. Staff is always nice to me and my family

First time here, since I usually go to Great Neck branch...Looking for Where the Crawdads Sing which has 248 holds on it...Turned out this branch had a Lucky Day copy...Drove over and it was still there! Librarian found it and checked it out for me...Truly my Lucky Day!

We love the sensory storytime and open Play. The staff is always so friendly and helpful!
