Franklin Restaurant

The food was great! We love the salad bar and hot food bar. The staff was friendly, except for the waitress, she never came back and checked on us and gave us refills on our waters and drinks throughout our entire meal. We finally got more drink right before we left. The catfish was still cold inside in the middle, and it couldn't be sent back, because we never saw our waitress, but other than that, everything was really good. I will eat here again, and I would recommend it to others.

I eat here all of the time. Food is always good and the staff always goes above and beyond. I love a salad bar.

We go for the fish platter, flounder or cat fish, shrimp, and clams. The cat fish is delicious. It is a quiet, family-friendly place to dine with no alcohol served and a Christian music station playing. Salad and hot bar are available with most meals. A good place to go with family and friends for a nice meal with quiet conversation.

Always a good experience. Extremely friendly staff. One of my favorite places in Franklin Co. Great food and reasonably priced. Thanks ladies! They have always been a local favorite! I don’t think that will ever change!

Okay but not the greatest food. Ordered meat loaf. It was good but been.perfect if the bbq sauce was left off. Good prices abd quantity. Hot table was great and nice salad bar

Cute place! Makes you forget you're in the mountains and makes you feel like you're at the beach. I asked the waitress if I should get the fried clams or shrimp, she recommended the combination plate and I loved it! The clams were better but the shrimp was good too! The hush puppies were delicious and I enjoyed that there was salt and pepper on the outside of my baked potato. The location is a bit annoying with it being right off the highway (a truck didn't see out turn signal and almost hit us but that's not the restaurants fault, just something to keep in mind.) I will definitely recommend to people 👍

Franklin Restaurant is the very image of a charming local institution. It's the kind of place where there are regulars with favorite seats and the wait staff just might call you hon while a local radio station plays to fill in the soundspace. Charming, quaint, local, and cozy atmosphere.

The food is better than the more cynical of you might expect. A step between a midline restaurant and a greasy spoon, you get good flavorful portions without ever feeling hemmed into ordering that one same thing every time. The specials change often and are always worth checking out.

Great food (love their breakfast and salad bar) variety of menu items. We’ve never had a bad meal, no matter what time of day!! Friendly staff, excellent service!!!

Coming to Franklin Restaurant is like going to your family's for dinner, they make you feel welcome. The staff is very friendly and courteous. If there is a problem, they will make it right. Excellent home cooked meals, soup and salad bar. They also have great desserts. I highly recommend eating here!

This was my family and I first visit. And when we are in town again we will be back . Service and food was excellent

My wife had meat loaf which she enjoyed. I had pork BBQ. The BBQ was smoky with a little sweetness that melted in my mouth. It was a lunch that left us satisfied. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Came highly recommended by locals.

Best pancakes & eggs & Fresh Coffee! Great service! My 2 yr old son loved the fish tanks. We were able to eat while he watched the fish swim in the 2 fish tanks. I will definitely be back!

It was good home cooking from a family owned and operated restaurant. The prices were very reasonable. I got the beef liver and onions and the wife got the steak and my son got the ribs. None of us had a bad thing to say about the food.

Great food that tastes like it came from Mama's kitchen. Giant pancakes, perfectly cooked eggs and enough smiles to go around. Extremely friendly staff and fun throwback type restaurant to enjoy breakfast. Highly recommended!

My husband & I had a late lunch here. The food was very fresh and the people there were very accommodating. Prices are so reasonable. Had Blueberry cobbler (homemade) and it was delicious !! Highly recommend Franklin Restaurant.
