Hema's Italian Restaurant

Hema's is a favorite of mine, the food is always so flavourful and fresh. I love the Alfredo, steak specials, calzones, and my top favorite which I added the picture for... The Lamb and Chicken over rice!!! If you want good, soul hitting food and flavor you've got to order it!

Love their marinara sauce!!! The baked spaghetti with is delish!! The food is good but the atmosphere is not the best. Some of the women are friendly and approachable but the men not so much.

We dine at Hema's several times each year and always enjoy it. The food is consistently good, and we like the menu selections. The service is very good, and the food comes to the table Hot! That's a sign of a good restaurant.

A local favorite for lunch and dinner. Reliable Italian food, with a few American and middle eastern dishes thrown in for variety. Fair prices and good service. The owners are a real part of Rocky Mount, sponsoring sports teams, donating food for events and randomly bringing a great food to offices as a "thank you". We are better with Hema's and Hema's is better if you dine there...so try the Stromboli or the Hema's Salad.

The most wonderful service and great for a girls day out or family time or just to grab a great bite of food. Service was honestly humble...he took his time to answer all questions and suggestions for each of us. He made sure it was just as we ordered. Friendly atmosphere and a great place overall.

This little place will be in business for many years to come if it's based on these three things. Staff (majority) is polite respectful, and fast. The atmosphere is chill. I personally have t had many things on the menu, that's bc the items I do get are so good I don't even think of trying something new. Lol. I recommend the steak and cheese stromboli (and thats folded w/meat sauce). The steak and cheese, and the ham and cheese subs are excellent also. Just wish it automatically came with chips or fries and pickle. I always forget to add one of those when ordering bc it usually does come along with. Might I add, this is one of the cleanest (that I've seen) places in RM to eat.

Their cheese steaks are awesome. Best pizza Ive had since I left Charlotte. A hidden gem. Their spaghetti sauce is wonderful too!

I had veal Parmesan it was great plenty of no doubt. Service was good. When that area again and hungry I would stop again.

Good food, good service. We were a group of ten, and the waitress got a couple orders mixed up, but the owner made it right immediately. I'll be back next time I'm in Rocky Mount.

Since moving closer to Rocky Mount, my wife and I have had several meals at Hema's, both take out and dine in. They are awesome! Truly upscale food and service without the price tag that comes with it.

Love eating here a perfect mix between Italian and Mediterranean. My kids are picky, well they've got everything from pizza to lamb chicken and rice, and everything in between so you'll be able to find something for everything.

All 3 meals were delicious and hot.

2nd time getting food from here. The Stromboli’s are amazing. Chicken dishes are very tasty too. Pizza? You guessed it. Delicious. Great food at reasonable prices. Definitely a favorite restaurant for our household. The building is a bit dated, but who cares? The food is always hot and tastes great. Order from here and enjoy!
