Dudley's Truck Stop Restaurant

Barbara has owned this place over 50 years, and she knows how to cook amazing southern food! The aesthetic of the restaurant is like hopping in a time capsule of Franklin County’s past! No online ordering but they do orders over the phone. Great stop for truckers due to the parking lot in back and the adjoining gas station. The menu has a wide selection and low prices but I definitely recommend the biscuits & gravy with the tenderloin(usually available on Sundays.) Not to be missed if driving through Rocky Mount area!

I’m very biased because my grandma Barbara owns this business but that doesn’t take away from how amazing of a cook she is!

Loved the customer service very sweet lady, a cozy atmosphere cute little local restaurant and their breakfast is pretty good I got the farmers, the peppers and onions scrambled with the eggs took me back home for a moment, loved their pancakes reminded me of my mom’s so that says it all lol

First time dining here and the environment brought back great memories and a sense of warm nostalgia filled the air of my childhood. The food was amazing too, I felt like I was having breakfast with family again. I'll definitely come back, hungry for more

As a trucker, I didn't use the showers or eat food, but its must be delicious as the car parking area was a bit over full. Decent amount of truck parking for a out in the middle of almost nowhere. Cashiers were very nice and had some cute caddy jokes. Would stop again to check out restaurant.

Beautiful area to rest if you are passing through. There is 1 shower, a clean restroom, cheap cigarettes by the carton, and a delicious restaurant with home cooked meals! Very nice people. 💕

This place is amazing. It's always nice to find home cooking out here on the road. I am so glad stopped and will most definitely stop here again

Everything you would expect in a diner, and more. The breakfast was so freaking good. The best eggs I've ever had at a restaurant, amazing country fried steak, and my coffee never got empty.

Excellent food & friendly service!! I highly recommend to anyone passing through this area. Fried catfish was delicious. Sweet tea spot-on perfect!! For breakfast the chicken fried steak was tasty. Thank you!!

It's what I call a "greasy spoon". Nothing fancy, but very reasonably priced and lots of food. My husband and I could have split the country fried steak platter. Coffee was good and they even gave refills on juice! Staff was nice.

Good ol home cooked meal with a delicious coconut cake for dessert. Good place to stop and grab a bite to eat. Love these little ma and pa truck stops/ restaurants.

Just love an old maw and paw style fuel stop with a restaurant and a little store. I head for them before I even think of going to a corporate chain...
Dudley's is a Mudflap app stop as well... which is a huge savings for us on fuel.

I eat breakfast here on the regular with my hubs. Coffee is great, food is excellent, and the staff is super friendly. Quality food with super affordable prices. We love Dudley's Truck Stop for real.

I stop here because I was running out of driving hours, saw posted signs No drop trailer & No overnight parking or will get toed ! I went inside and ask if they have paid parking the kind and wounder full staff said once I stayed in my truck and don’t leave a mess in the parking lot it’s okay parking is free ! They joked with me for awhile I buy two soft drinks and went back to my truck ! The store close at 9PM so if you need to use the bathroom get it in before the store close, the restaurant close at 10PM depending on who is working that night in the restaurant ! Overall I give them 5 Stars 🌟

Coming in here is like stepping back into the 60s!! It's a family-run truck stop and the people are super nice, it's very old school. I had dinner last night and breakfast this morning in both were super delicious just like Mama would make and the prices are very good 10 bucks or less for a great meal!!

Absolutely the BEST bacon, egg & cheese bagel I’ve ever had! And the friendliest people! Definitely will stop every trip!

Good country breakfast and everyone in there is down to earth I would definitely recommend and come again if I’m passing through.

Very courteous staff. Nice clean place. The restaurant is a throw back setting very nice place. The food is absolutely amazing. Very cheap prices and absolutely amazing. I will definitely make this one of my stops when I’m this area. The best part the waitress just did her job was not all flirty and chatty. Wish I could give them more stars but five is all that’s available

Great folks here. And they from New Orleans so I knew the food would be good! One lady said I looked young to be a truck driver lmao 🤣 loved that they actually have conversations and not just take orders and go! Would give 10 stars if all possible. Nice restaurant. Feels "homey" and a sorta like I was in a log cabin styled environment lol enjoy this place ppl

For anyone named Steven who might be afraid of the dark, this probably isn’t the place to stop. If you’re anyone else who loves great food and really nice people and have the ability to make it from your vehicle to the door and use the words (your & you’re) correctly in a sentence instead of crying about what’s legal or illegal then this is definitely where you’d like to stop.

I've been here a few times, food is great, fuel prices are great and they participate with Mudflap, so bonus!
People are super friendly, always a great experience.
