Chicago's Jerk Tacos

Great taste. A lot of great food for price. I’ll definitely be back. When you call their on point making sure you get what you want and it’s ready when you get there. No dine in or walk in but I’ll be back for sure. I’m from Chicago and they definitely coming through on the jerk side. Appreciate y’all

Being from Chicago I just had to have some Jerk Tacos. For making the hour-long journey it was worth it. Now my biggest grip is that there is no inside dining but it's understandable while restaurants are transitioning.

We pulled in front and used their code to get to the menu that has a lot of options. While doing that one of the employees came to the car took our order and gave us instructions for our next visit.

The food came out promptly in less than ten minutes. They even added some bottled water which was awesome because it was hot outside. So the service was great.

The food also was delicious; not too spicy and not overly sweet. With fresh vegetables, chips and salsa. My wife had this for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'd recommend again and if you are wanting to eat somewhere nice the river front is only another ten minutes away. Where you can picnic.

The owner was very friendly, almost like family. The food was amazing!! We ordered The jerk salad, which was amazing, wings, and the pineapple bowl. We enjoyed it all, a10 out of 10 will try again. The seasoning on the fires was unmatched!

I had the steak jerk wrap and it was FIRE! Gotta get it toasted, it adds that extra ZING! Great flavor, perfect heat level, super nice service! I’m excited to try everything else on the menu! Just a heads up you gotta call your order in, but they’ll bring it right out to your car, it’s great!

Best service I ever had the food was fantastic it looked good smelled good and tasted good the server was so nice and it was faster that I expected

Absolutely delicious! Food was very fresh and hot when it got to me too. First time trying, definitely will be back for more! Oh and great customer service as well!

We were in town for an event and while searching for nearby food options, my husband found that this place was right across the street. We walked over to place an order at the door just before closing. The person who took our order (the owner?) was very nice and helpful. He told us the menu on the outside of the building is out of date, but the online menu is accurate, and offered some recommendations. We got some jerk chicken tacos and nachos and they came out pretty quickly. The tacos were an order of three,served with sour cream, chips, and salsa. The nachos came in a smaller box, but there was a good amount of food with that as well. The flavors we're so good and we really enjoyed everything--would totally order again if we come back to the area!

I just discovered the restaurant on line and was very excited to try their food. I had recently complained that there was no place to get Jerk food in Louisville so I went yesterday and tried the walking steak tacos with the spicy sauce and a side order of fries. I was surprised that the tacos came in a chip bag bit it was a pleasant surprise and a novel idea (never had anything like that before). Everything was very good..Sometimes I'm reluctant to get steak tacos because the meat isn't tender, but the steak was tender and seasoned well and came out piping hot. The sauce was good and spicy and the seasoning on the fries made them really good. I can hardly wait to go back and try some of the other dishes. This will definitely be my "go to" place to food!

Some of the Best I've had not over season everything was just right I highly recommend this and everything was shareable.

My overall experience was amazing. I ordered the steak pizza and the jerk chicken wings. Everything was fresh, i enjoyed the sautéed vegetables it was a nice touch to the pizza. The wings were amazing. It was all cooked to perfection. I loved how easy the ordering process was and how professional both employees were. The location is ideal as it is a ghost kitchen so the curbside pickup was convenient. All & all I would recommend Chicago’s Jerk Tacos to anyone wanting flavorful food at a great price. Also heard they had a food truck !!!!

If you like tacos, and enjoy flavor and heat, you must try this place.

We did a tasting for a wedding and I was blown away by the flavors in everything they put together. In true Caribbean fashion the merger of sweet and spicy really shone thru!

We tried beef and chicken tacos, different kinds of rices, queso, and of course typical taco toppings. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Some things may be a bit too spicy for some, but the flavors make it worth the heat (for those that are a little spicy adverse)!

My only regret is not getting any pictures - just means I'll have to go back!

Foods always on point, if you want the best jerk chicken in Louisville go here. Try the jerk chicken Alfredo it’s my personal favorite. Solid 10/10 from me 💪🏼

OMG. I'm from Chicago, (so I know what good food is.) Today was my first time trying this restaurant. The food here is AWESOME!!! OMG, I stopped eating just to make this post. I had to call them and THANK THEM for bringing the taste of Chicago to Kentucky. They have a patron for life in me. I highly recommend Chicago's Jerk Tacos. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

The food is fabulous, with incredibly complex flavors! Quicker service than “Chick-fastfood-A” with even better customer service, and you aren’t getting a soggy lifeless chicken sandwich. If you haven’t been, definitely worth a call and pick up, even if it is out of your way. I would drive out of my way for this comfort food.

Had an awesome late night comforting dinner! The surf & turf tacos were really good. Superb customer service, I can’t wait to come back for the burger. Great addition to Louisville’s food scene!

I got a chicken walking taco! Maybe because I only spent $5. Was not good to me. Will order something else but so far not good.

Owner was clutch, called me back and had me some gas nachos when I pulled up. Must try this 🔥

I Am loving Everything about this establishment. Every order has been the Bomb 💣, So it makes it very hard for me to order, so I get alil of it all.. "DON'T judge ME".
We Absolutely LUV the food, service , Owners & the CHI Crew..
