Great find. This market has a huge selection of fresh meat and lots of their items in the freezer. They also have a great variety of other items to round out a nice meal including pasta, soups and sauces. They also have a cooler with dry aged beef that I will be back for a special meal. Deli and prepared food looked great and I will be back at lunchtime. Staff behind the counter were friendly and helpful.

Went to my favorite market today to get food for dinner. I was talking to the girls about what happened the other day while I was there. I have always had a great experience with the employees at this market and I don't know how they tolerate some of the customers, the other day I witnessed the rudest, darn right mean customer, the credit card systems were down (technology is great when it works) and they weren't able to process our cards and the way that woman spoke to the employees if it was my business I would have asked her to leave, it was so obnoxious to the point the manager had to speak to her.

This place is AMAZING.
Tried a Local KC style strip steak.
It was incredible. House made sweet Italian sausage for today!

I tried some of their smoked ham and it was so amazing and when I heard they had a deli I had to come and get a fresh made sandwich. Got the Hot Pastrami sandwich and it was perfect, the right amount of mustard and perfectly thick cuts of pastrami between two slices of marble rye. Definitely coming back here and doing all my sandwich shopping from here on out.

Not sure what to make for dinner? Stop in and ask the knowledgeable, helpful and friendly butchers. Grab a sandwich and/or pre-made goodies at the deli counter. There's even yummy desserts from a local restaurant and fresh produce along with other grocery items. Note: Kitchen close at 3PM.

I visited 143 Market for the first time last week and was very impressed. I've driven by many times but decided to go when I looked into their wide meat selection. The amount that they offer in both ready to go food and deli is amazing! They unfortunately were out of my favorite meat (Aloha Turkey) but Ill be back once its in stock! Its a very clean facility with a friendly staff (props to the lady serving me at the deli counter for dealing with my variety of an order). Definitely 5 stars, I will be back.

This is hands down the best place to get delicious fresh meat as well as already prepared food items. They have a large selection of specialty items , breads, pastas and sauces to bring home to cook. We just tried their homemade chicken sausage and spicy Italian Saul last weekend and had them on the grill, out of this world. Plus everyone there is really pleasant and helpful!!!

Wow, this place is OUTSTANDING!! Impressive selection of gorgeous beef, hand cut to exactly how you want it. Great selection of deli meats, hand sliced to perfection. and the folks who work here are super nice, and eager to please. A great value, too, (deli meats seem on par with the "impersonal big grocery stores. This place is a real GEM. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUTCHER!!! Get in here and check it out. You'll be really surprised, and it will become a regular stop on grocery day.

This place is awesome! From cuts and quality of meat you can’t get anywhere else, to delicious sandwiches and full deli counter to unique spices and sauces and multiple other unexpected treats, 143 is a gem.

We buy all our meat from them. Their marinated steak tips are out of this world, Soft and tasty! They also have great burgers. Not comparable to stores or even restaurants. I highly recommend them.

Great selection of meat! Their weekly pork roasts are always delicious, as well as stuffed chops and steaks. Have plenty in the market to make it a one-stop shop ;)

Absolutely outstanding people here. They have a wide variety of cuts and even help us out with custom cuts of meat. I can't thank you enough!

Everything is of great quality. The steak and cheese calzones are my favorite. The staff is awesome they even returned a $20 bill that had stuck to another bill the next time I went in. Talk about honesty. If you need BBQ for a party this is the place. Keep up the good work!

I am so lucky I have market 143 in Mattapoisett! I love going there. They have all kinds of meats and cuts! Even the Brazilian picanha. They take orders and have the best burgers ! Great staff! Always feel satisfy whenever I go there. Best butcher shop around.

The best butcher shop around with the most tender and flavorful local filet minion in the area. They also have variety of prepared foods along with a decent selection of deli meats. The Prosciutto was amazing and cut to my requested thickness. Great group of friendly and knowledgeable professionals.

Exactly the kind of local market I've been hoping for! The meats are better than anything you'll get from the big grocery store and the prepared foods feel like home cooking without the work. The butchers are friendly and super helpful. They'll get you exactly what you need, if they have it! Great place for some lunch too!

Great fresh cuts of quality meats and prepared dinners to go. They smoke all kinds of meats too. Very good service. They have pantry items and a nice selection of fresh vegetables. One stop shop on your way home.

Every sandwich or salad is made to order with the freshest ingredients. We order lunch from here at least twice a week. Try the prime rib sandwich or the crazy blue salad!

Great deli and butcher shop. Lots of fun extras to make a full meal or try something new. Only place I know with beef wagyu local. Great for everyday meals and/or a special occasion.

They got some bomb meats here. My boo and I picked up these ribeye steaks and brought them home to grill. They were the best I ever had.
