Da Spot

We stumbled on this place driving by one day in the area. We didn't order at that time but returned another day. Since my first time trying Da Spot I've been back countless times. There's no BBQ like it. I know this because I've searched and tried others. My conclusion is there's no other place in this area to have great BBQ but from Da Spot. It's the place to eat from! It satisfies the taste buds and belly.

Da Spot definitely hits the “da spot”. From the moment I stepped put out of the vehicle, you can smell the food and it’s inviting you in. The gentleman that took my order was very friendly and funny. The food was delicious. Ribs were meaty with no fat and that sauce was definitely finger licking good. Banana pudding was equally good. Definitely returning to try other items on the menu.

Amazing BBQ. Had the Rib Dinner with Collars Greens and Baked Beans. Everything thing was exceptional. This is real BBQ. The owners should be proud to cook such great food. Great patio and lawn area. Laid back.

The best ribs in town! I can't rave enough about how good the food is here. It takes me back to holidays with my grandma's cooking (which has always been my favorite soul food) and that means the world to me to find somewhere that brings those memories back.

The people are wonderful and the food is like nothing else you can get around here. The only issue is that you have to get there before they sell out!! It's SERIOUSLY that good!!!!

We have ordered from them many times, the seafood tray is top tier. Don't get sticker shock, we get AT LEAST 6 meals. You can't get that anywhere else! The portions are generous and the people are delightful. If everyone knew there would be a line wrapped around the building. 🤩

This order was $65. Pulled pork to die for with three sides and a bun if you want to make it a sammich. The rib box doesn't give any justice to how much meat is on them, so the last picture is after my gentle giant of a husband ate his fill and I did too. More than one meal left with two desserts makes it just around $20 per person. For the quality you just can't beat it. 🤸‍♀🙃✌🫶

Top three spots for BBQ ribs in the country, in my very humble opinion. Give them a try, the food is outstanding and the service very friendly.

This was the best food I've ever had in my life, I literally wanted to cry because I've never had anything that tasted that good ever. The shrimp boil they make their own garlic sauce and I want to buy it by the gallon. Hopefully they try to sell at first Friday because if they did their food would have people lining up around the block. I'm never going anywhere for Southern food anywhere else again.

Great food great atmosphere. The lady who took our order was super nice and quick. There’s a pool table and tv playing, food came out quick was super good and fun would recommend.

It might not look like DA spot but it hits Da spot just fine!! Food was delicious!! Serving sizes large!. Everything taste soo good!!

Incredibly good food in a beautiful and unique outdoor setting, this place is a hidden gem. Good food, good vibes, good patio and absolutely wonderful people.

The food didn’t last long enough for me to take a photo of, but I’ll definitely be back for more!

Definitely a family run business with some down to earth owners who are ready to host multiple parties. Great space right on Pinellas Trail and the food to back it up.
Outside area has turf with a volleyball net, garbage can pong, football, stage, speakers, projector, fire pit, canvas covered VIP area, two pool tables inside…the amount of fun available in this place took me aback honestly. Try their rib sandwich and greens.

Took my son to Da Spot after his soccer game. The food was spot on. The pulled pork is something you can't go wrong with. The beans were excellent. The Smoked Sausage was perfectly done. Not the dried-out meat you get at a chain restaurant. I am not a big sweet tooth. However, their banana pudding was ridiculously good. By the way, best greens i have had in some time. Still more on the menu I want to try. Da Spot is casual. Go on a day with good weather and sit out back. Ride your bike. It is on the Pinellas Trail. Parking can get a little tight. Street parking is available though. If your in Tarpon Springs and want something besides Greek food, don't miss Da Spot.

Loved everything about this place. Good location, lively atmosphere (in the back), customer service is on point, owners run it, the food is good & the prices are matchinh with what you get. I'm definitely coming back.

Wow!!! Definitely a hidden local gem of tarpon! Just moved here from Alaska where seafood and bbq are king buuut I must say da spot is hitting! Perfectly cooked, hot, fresh and LOCAL! We had family come to town unexpectedly I called but didn’t get an answer (they weren’t open for another few hours) so I rode my bike over and the chef was out there smoking the goods, he kindly explained everything and we made a plan for what we needed party wise - and three hours later they made it happen.

Everything was so delicious. We had brisket, bbq chicken, and ribs. Absolutely loved the smoky flavor and all the sides were really yummy as well.
We will definitely be back!

If you want thee best bar-b-que around you have to try this place.....there is macaroni and cheese and then there's da spots macaroni and cheese.....the best I've ever had......trust me you will not be disappointed....give them a try a quality product for a quality price.....will be back for sure

Literally right down the street from house and this place is jammin'. We went for Seafood Saturday. Got a plate of blue crab and a plate of snow crab. They were loaded with all kinds of goodness. Definitely going again, and again...

Went back again tonight to grab a rib plate for dinner and was not disappointed. Wow. Absolutely slamming. Now I gotta go for a breakfast sometime soon.

Omg, this is BY FAR some of the BEST BBQ we have had in a long time. Ribs were fall off the bone and awesome smoked flavor as well as the chicken. The collards were sooo good as well as the mac and cheese. The baked beans......man I could eat a gallon of them, the flavor was amazing! DEFINITELY will be back

Just picked up another amazing meal from Da Spot this time we ordered for a party and not only was the food amazing but the service was even better. They will sit down with you and talk it all out and make sure you have everything you need and all the right amount. Make sure you order from them for your next party!
