The best store we visited while at Tarpoon Springs. The owner is super friendly and taught us all about sponges, how they grow and harvest them. Store has everything from sponges to cool tshirts they design themselves. Definable wort visiting!

Friendliest of the stores!! Employees are super friendly and will answer any questions on sponges. The boat is in the back of the store. Very clean and nice gifts. I didn't get their names today, but they were super. I bought 9 small sponges here because they were so friendly and a wonderful business to support.

I was in here for an hour. Cloe and Colson showed me around the store. There were so many interesting artifacts on the walls. Ask the ladies to show you around. You'll be glad you did.

The owner designs his own graphics for his shirts. Wish there were more small sized shirts cause the few designs I were interested in were only in medium.

They have really high quality sponges. You might find one you like.

If you go to the sponge docks then you have to visit this place. We walked in expecting another tourist tshirt spot but left with things we had no intention of buying. It was all simply because the family is so passionate about preserving the environment and educating anyone who walks into their doors. Great people and worth it!

The best store in the sponge docks. Great environment! They have awesome t-shirts, women’s clothing, jewelry, and kids shirts too. You pay for the quality of the clothes! All of the employees are very friendly and the owner is very knowledgeable about Tarpon Springs and sponges. All of the sponges come off of their sponge boat “the Anastasi.” There is a fish tank in the shop that has a little shark inside. Every time I go to the sponge docs I make sure to stop by and grab their uniquely designed shirts.

Love stopping by this place. My favorite t-shirt came from here (grey speckles with a mermaid sea tour design). I’ve worn it nearly weekly for 4 years now and it’s still in the same condition as when I bought it despite how rough I am on my laundry. Considering purchasing another shirt or two online, but honestly thinking I just need another Florida vacation so I have an excuse to stop in-person.

Beautiful shop and excellent service! We were just in on a sleepy Monday at the sponge docks. My husband and I had a toddler in a stroller, an enthusiastic 11-year-old, and my parents. We learned a lot and the gal working was so good with our kids. Love our sponges and my mom loves her jewelry. I am OBSESSED with the olive oil soaps I bought -- They are amazing and smell so good. Can't wait to visit again when we come back down from Minnesota. Efharisto!

Such a beautiful shop! Enjoyed learning about the history of sponge diving as well as the sponges themselves. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, which helped us decide what sponges to buy for out applications. THANK YOU!

I travel to tarpon springs every few years. I have bought natural sponges from a few places there, but none of them are as high quality as Sponge Diver Supplies. On my last trip I bought 3 sponges. I also love how they are always welcoming and kind. They also will tell you all you could ever want to know about sponges.

I love it here! I've visited the last two years and will keep coming back. The staff is friendly and helpful and my toddler LOVES watching the sea horses by the counter.

We walked into this shop to escape the oppressive FL summer heat while waiting for our boat tour. I cringed at walking into the small shop with 8 kids ranging from 2-10, a baby in a stroller, and 3 adults. The shopkeeper shared no such concerns! He greeted us with a smile and warmth. As I began to worry about the kids touching all the things, he came around and handed out sponges to everyone. He squatted down as the kids circled around him, explaining each type of sponge, passing more types around, before letting them play with the sponges in a bucket of water. When the kids lost interest in the sponges, he told the adults the more "boring" parts of history (we certainly weren't bored but the kids would have been). He told the kids about the animals in his aquarium and encouraged us to visit other sights in Tarpon Springs. We walked out refreshed, bubbling with new information, and a dozen sponges. I could not be more impressed with how this shopkeeper handled our crowd while sharing his pride and history of his home. Next time we head to Tarpon, we will be sure to stop in.

Don't go to the sponge docks without stopping by The Sponge Diver Supply. This unique boutique has something for everybody in the family. Inside you will find a beautiful space that's inviting and authentic to the city of Tarpon Springs.

Staff attentive not pushy appreciative
and knowledgeable. The shop itself is full of great artifacts and the stock is of premium grade.

Great shirt designs. Guy knows how to engage the customers and sell his product. Hands on, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Will be back to buy gifts in the future.

The people at SDS are GREAT! They carry very cool looking clothing and accessories, and they are right at the heart of the Sponge Docks. They are such a pleasure to do business with, and the Atmosphere there is so pleasant!

This guy is really friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy...great prices on sponges and clothing. Wide assortment of items...has to be one of the best shops in town. We'll be back the next time we're in the area...

This is one of few places where I could clearly understand a person talking to me and not mumbling through a mask.

Stopped in for the second time this weekend. Great vibes, and both ladies that helped us were so patient and courteous. Love the products too!

Super comfortable t-shirts for men. Unique clothing selection for women. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area.

I've been using my shower sponge and dish sponge for 3 years. They're antimicrobial. I accidentally used my dish sponge with some bleach.... not a good idea, it just disintegrated. I live 3 hours away.... I wonder if they ship.
