Nice paved parking lot with many spaces. The trails are paved and then natural and fairly flat. Easy to navigate trails I do t see how you could get lost. They look and the full paved path has sign markers. If you do the biggest natural loop possible about 2.15 miles. The paved path is much longer if you go all the way out to Anclote River Park and back. I really enjoyed the hike and the paved would make for a nice biking experience.

I love to go here to watch the sunsets & she what the fishing people are catching.. Good photo ops! Doea smell a lil fishy at time along the pier in certain spots. There is seating at the end of the Gulf side pier. There is a shorter to the right that is close to the shoreline. Wood made into pier is old & weathered but solid. Becareful for huge slivers incase you drag ur hand down it.

There is a path that goes through some FL forest I have gone a bit of the way down at night (strogly recommend a flashlight). Havrnt been down during the day yet. I believe it connects to Key Vista Nature Park up the rd abit.

Good place to see FL native wildlife. Is at the opening to a power plant so in winter a possibility to see Manatees. I have not yet. Saw fish jumping. Shark sting rays eagles hawks osprey storks racoons other various animals including dumped off cats...

There is no food make sure to bring a sandwiches and or snacks. There are picnic tables grass pkging spaces a kids playground & a dog park area. Wifi may be spotty at times.

There are public restrooms at the start of the pier. They are actually clean! People who use them do not through trash around! Not scary to use! Night or day!

This is a late review. I visited this park on 07-31-2021. This is a nice little park with plenty of parking. There are places from the pier and along the path which run along the shoreline where you can watch the sunset. This park connects to the Key Vista Nature Park and features a three-tier observation tower.

Beautiful park with lots to offer, including: easy access to the water, a large fishing pier, hiking trails, an observation tower, playground, shelters, a dog park for large and small dogs, and ample parking. A note about the hiking trails: these are very moderate hikes, anyone in average shape would have no difficulty doing them, the trails are well maintained and feature beautiful boardwalks at different points. We saw several species of birds at different points on the trails. Would visit this park again if in the area. Highly reccomend.

Anclote Gulf Park is a large park in Pasco County Florida on 23 acres of land owned by Duke Energy of Florida. Parts of it such as the dog park and pier are heavily utilized. I haven't seen it yet but supposedly in the winter months the south side of the park attracts manatees that can be viewed from two small piers.

Anclote Gulf Park is also known for its proximity to Anclote Key Preserve State Park, which is accessible by boat and features pristine barrier island ecosystems and historic lighthouse ruins. Whether you're looking to bask in the sun, explore the natural beauty of the area, or simply unwind by the water, Anclote Gulf Park offers a charming slice of Florida's coastal paradise.

An amazing experience. Huge boardwalk and paths connecting to the beach and little mini areas to rest a relax. Free parking here specifically, but you have to pay at the Key Vista park, so just park here instead. Beautiful, and so much fun. Beautiful sunsets too.

It is very scenic and a great fishing pier. There were several people fishing for crabs and doing well when we were there. A few first timers and the experienced fishermen/women that were there were very nice

This is my favorite park to take my girls to. They have a nice playground and a beautiful boardwalk that goes from Anclote Gulf over to Key Vista. We have enjoyed the walk many times together. There is even a dog park and a fishing pier if that suits your interests.

Lovely park near the power station overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Entry is free here. There is water access for kayak launch and fishing pier(open 24 hrs). There were plenty of people fishing here and the sunset was beautiful. We also walked the boardwalk/hiking path which connects to the Key Vista Nature Park. It's a charming walk in the woods. We went in early spring so we got to see plenty of wildflowers. The path has multiple access to gulf waters and plenty of people were enjoying the beaches. There is a dog park here too. If you want to spend the day with family/friends or just for a evening stroll, this park is for you.

Nice place to launch a kayak or paddle board, you can fish from the shore or from the long pier, there's a few picnic tables and grills, public restrooms, wheelchair accessible parking. Two off leash fenced in dog areas. The park is mostly sunny and at the north end there's a boardwalk through the mangroves that leads to Key Vista nature park. You can also get to Key Vista nature park and Anclote river park via. the Anclote coastal trail

Really Needs a big clean up all I catch is other people's fishing line. need to remove the rocks near the pear so people that don't know what is out there quit losing their hooks and sinkers. Do not swim people lose their hooks and lines and could easily be tangled up and die . sun sets and the sunrise are great.

There is a dog park here, recycling bin, fishing dock, and a trail that leads to the key vista park which I love. They allow dogs and I have carried in a beach chair and sat on the beach with my dog. There's also playground and pavilions.

My favorite park to walk the trails and fish at. The trails are handicap accessible if you come in from further down. The boardwalk that isn't the fishing pier ends in stairs down and is difficult for wheelchairs or scooters alone
