What a gem!! Definitely worth a visit if you want to hit the trails. Whether on a bike, or on foot, there is something for everyone. Trails connect to other "park(s)" with a pier, playground and restrooms. Seen many fishing, walk their dogs or simply enjoy their surroundings. Spotted dolphins, a variety of feathered friends and a few turtles.

One of my favorite local parks around here. Relaxing, long, (but not too long) trails that lead to the Gulf. You get the best of both worlds here. Take a nice stroll through the woods and then walk along the beach and admire the ocean. I recently just discovered on the very far left side of the park a long boardwalk that leads out to the next park North of Key Vista :). Plenty of space to roam around and explore nature, think about the world, take some time for yourself and simply be present :)

In the few minutes we stopped at the beach we saw all kinds of birds and two dolphins! One came right up about 10 foot from the shore he was after a fish I think. The trail was nice also pretty wide but sandy. It was an awesome free park!

This is a late review. I visited the Key Vista Nature Park on 07-31-2021. I really enjoyed this park. It features a three-tier observation tower.

This was a beautiful little nature reserve. My son and I had a fun time exploring the different trails.

I had a blast on the new bike trails at Key Vista Park. Great ride with my bro. Awesome trail too, we need more bike trails.

Lovely nature trail to lookout tower over the gulf, serene beach and lagoon like areas with clear water. Very tranquil setting. It was a little upsetting during our time there that 3 large dogs ran up to our nervous little dogs and we had to pick them up real quick. While all dogs are to be kept on leash at this park, I understand wanting to let them play in the water but, you must be able to control your dogs from running up to others. There's small dogs that are scared of larger ones and it really ruins the experience when pet owners are not responsible.

The park has a nice walk area with board walk and lookout tower. Part of the walk is sandy, if you have bad knees the sandy areas are difficult to navigate. The area is beautiful. The lookout tower has phenomenal views. Seen people fishing and some snorkeling.

Awesome park for a dog walk. Nice trails. A little time on a beach. Spent a month in Tarpon Springs and this is the best close park for the dog.

A small little gem with lots of trails with a couple walking right by the water. A great lookout tower and plenty of gopher tortoises to discover but not hurrass. Lots of sea birds to identify.

We really like walking this park. Very nice trails. We watched the sun set from a beach area. Nice dog park and covered pavillions with picnic tables.

Nice easy trails. Beautiful water views of gulf. Great boardwalk areas and tower. Lots of wildlife seen. Very family and dog friendly. Lots of people use the trails so it's not the kind of place if you want peace and quiet. Felt safe and area was clean. Allot of people fishing off the banks.

Really fun trip. Nice drive out to the place. Would recommend to bring either dogs, kids or family. There are many different paths to take while hiking. There is a wooden tower that is three stories tall very fun! Rating if I could would be 10 out of 10.

Perfect doggy day trip. I owe my visit to discovering this location on Yelp. There are only a few beach front locations that dogs are welcome and this is one of them. Key Vista has a smaller sized parking area that could probably accommodate two dozen automobiles. There are a couple of different entrances into the park. On the North side of the park is where the water inlets, beaches, and observation tower are located. Holidays hidden gem indeed !!

Love this place. Bathrooms were clean, the tower was beautiful, and there were so many tortoises out the day I went.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful! It's free to get in. It's pet friendly (leash required). There's zero difficult terrain. I'm certain that even a wheelchair could make it through here. The fishing here is incredible. And make sure you stick around for an unforgettable sunset!!

One of my favorite local parks and truly a hidden gem. Several short trails within the park as well as a connection to the Anclote coastal trail.
Walk down to the water, take in the observation tower, walk the boardwalk to Anclote Park.
Dog friendly, people friendly, nature friendly.
