Mesa Latina Food Truck Wesley Chapel

I wanted to try a little variety of their empanadas so I ordered a beef, shrimp and pizza empanadas. They were all perfectly cooked with a tasty crispy pastry around the filling. The filling wasn't skimpy and the flavor was equally good throughout. Also ordered the passion fruit juice they had and it definitely hit the spot after eating the empanadas. Will definitely have to come back and try more of the menu, definitely recommend if you are in the Wesley chapel area. The sitting area has a certain charm that gives you that Puerto Rican love and passion they have brought to the food. Also they have a domino table which is literally the cherry on top. The food was prepared quickly and the person running the counter was very helpful with his recommendations on what I should order.

It's always great service and the food is amazing . Also, if you haven't tried their pasteles. You are missing out. One of the best I have tried so far. Took me way back to my grandma days.

Their food is delicious, but their fresh passion fruit juice omg to die for! Sometimes I'll just go there just for the juice. Definitely a place you don't wanna pass up if you're driving by it. Their tamarind juice is a new addition and is very delicious. The best empanada 🥟 I've had in a while. My favorite they offer is the octopus. It's a gem of a spot!

Great Puerto Rican food, the yuca alcapurrias were very tasty and the pastelillos de carne were also great. Great improvement on the alcapurrias de masa. Nice and clean location and plenty of parking.

This place is incredible, tasty authentic PR food, good sized portions, food presentation beautiful, and the owner has great customer service. Loved the big pork belly with the crispy fat!! Love the atmosphere and music. He meets you at the window with a big smile and is excited to tell you about his food. Everything was exceptionally good. This place is 10 out 10.

My wife, 7 and 4 year visited today. So happy we did. Loved the food! Such a nice surprise. Friendly owners, nice seating area and food truck was super clean.

Do yourself a favor and stop in for some awesome PR food. I got the pork bites with white rice and beans, also came with a little salad, it was amazing. Worth stopping for y'all.

We just moved to the area and were looking for good Spanish food. The food here was delicious. People were very friendly. So far, everything is great. If you're looking for authentic Puerto Rican/ Spanish food, this is it. We had a great Dominican restaurant where we used to live, and we were sad when we moved, but this place so far has not disappointed us.

The gentleman working the window had great energy & customer service. I’m so happy I found this spot! The aroma, the music, the cute little set up. If San Juan is too far in your future, come here instead 😘

I waited a year to review this place because the test is consistency. Does it taste the same every time? The answer—> YES! My husband is a frequent visitor on Thursdays after his haircut. Our go to, the mofongo!! We also love the tostones with garlic, pork & chicken chunks, empanadas & the alcapurrias. It must be a Vega thing because it tastes just like my Abuela’s cooking, and we are Vega’s!! lol but seriously, the service is always so pleasant, the food is packed with flavor & the mofongo is never dry!! I do hope that prices will get better in the future, we understand with inflation it’s hard. I wish we could eat here every week but it gets expensive. Overall it’s a great spot and the food is wonderful. Please don’t ever leave Wesley chapel.

We tried the mofongo with carne frita and with chicharrón de pollo at Mesa Latina's food truck, and they were really good. The flavors were delicious, and the portions were generous. I'd recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a good mofongo and Latin flavors!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Very authentic Puerto Rican food, hot and fresh to order. I ordered the chicharron de pollo with arroz mamposteado. Very big portioned meal! Such a nice outside environment. Overall great experience, definitely will be coming more often!

This is food for the soul! Finally, someone that makes juicy and delicious beef and chicken empanadas. The grilled skirt steak was perfectly cooked, drizzled with the best chimichurri I’ve found so far with yummy picked onions, a beautiful lightly dressed mixed greens salad, delicious beans that say “ home” and the best white rice, I know, rice! Will definitely keep ordering!

Very clean, very friendly staff & VERY delicious food! Authentic Puerto Rican food, made fresh! I was able to see the lady inside making everything fresh for us! Tried this place for the first time yesterday & I will definitely be returning! Very cute set up at night they turn on string lights & the owner came outside to offer us a free homemade tres leches. It was amazing. I highly recommend giving this place a try! You will be satisfied.

Today 3/8/2024, me and my best friend went for the first time to Mesa Latina Food Truck and we were taken by surprise by how good and delicious is their food. The owner Alberto treated us like we were his family, that made us real happy. We will be returning with all our family to enjoy their delicious cooking experience.

100% authentic Puertorican 🇵🇷 food. Como la cocina de Mami. Just like Mom's kitchen. Every item we ordered was full of flavor. Menu is full of options for starters, main courses and deserts. This food truck 🚚 is super clean. The attention from the staff was on point and the service fast. They have a deck with tables and sun umbrellas so can be in the shade while you enjoy your meal. My order was for 5 people, and the staff at Mesa Latina baggage every order individually for me. Thank you. If you are looking for an authentic Puertorican food truck in Winter Haven, try Mesa Latina. You will not regret it. By the way, thank you Mesa Latina for an awesome Monther's Day Dinner.

Authentic, Good and flavorful Puerto Rican food. Big portions. The food was warm and well cooked. Very clean and comfortable parking. Good atmosphere. I can't wait for them to open the Zephyrhills location.

Music is way too loud but it's real good PR music. I say 5 stars because down the Street is another PR restaurant (i.e., Rice & Beans) with terrible service EVERY time. The Mesa food truck has the real mofongo and the octopus empanadillas are insanely delicious real authentic PR food at Mesa Latina Food Truck. The ten dollar lunch special is worth $20...so deeply tasty
