This place is by far the best gift shop in downtown. The owner Dakota was super helpful and informative not only about the sponges we bought (that he harvests himself), but also about the entire area in general. We walked in to browse and left 30 minutes later with our entire next 2 days planned out and 3 awesome sponges. I'd highly recommend this place for sponges and other local hand made gifts, as well as ANY questions you may have about things to do and places to eat. We'll be back!

My Attorney Friend does not remember this shop but they make these doll, pretty shell decorations that look like dolls in Long flowing dresses made out of shells painted in different decorative colors.

Best sea sponge selection in the area. I spoke with Dakota who was more than helpful on picking out the perfect sponge. Never even thought a sea sponge would be a life changing moment for a shower, but let me tell you. It is amazing, get more than one it’s worth it. Dakota spent so much time sorting through and picking out the perfect sponge. Thanks again for everything.

Very friendly owner. I try to visit today and found out it closed July 1. The last time I was there I sat and talked to the owner for at least 1/2 hour while my husband spoke to the other man that was working. I hope you are doing great Dakota. This is the best Sponge shop in the world with the friendliest owner!! I am from New York and visiting this shop and meeting Dakota was one of the highlights of my trip to Fla.
