Tarpon Shores Inn

This is our 2nd time here. The lady on the front desk check in was friendly and polite. The room was big enough to accommodate us both of our bicycles. Very clean and easily connected to the Pinellas bike trail with easy access to Tarpon Springs.

Little known gem in Tarpon.,. Family owned, clean, pool, hot tub and sauna....
My friends stayed there while down on vacation and it suited them nicely.

The reason I chose this hotel was because of the photos when I arrived everything was just as I expected & was perfect. Room was clean. Staff was great happy, smiling helpful. My room: bedding , microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, completely clean & in working condition. The location is great for anything you want to do. Plenty of shopping, dining and beaches to visit. When I left this hotel, I truly have that feeling I was on a real vacation. Upon leaving, I left my housekeeper a tip did NOT have but strictly wanted to. I’d definitely book here again. 😊❤ IF I had to mention something disappointing I would say there are no pets allowed (though I’m sure there’s a reason why) and the pool closes a little bit early. 5/5 rating looking forward to the next booking

Spent ten days here and every minute of our stay was fabulous! The room was very clean and the efficiency kitchen was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our maid, Theresa, was outstanding, so attentive to any needs we had. Would definitely stay here again! Was 4 mi to the beaches and anything and everything was right around us, easy to get to. Best vacation ever!!!

This is a motel, not a bad area close to a lot of stores and beach, I've stayed a few times it works. Front desk is very nice.

I have stayed a few times .The rooms are normal hotel rooms, and everything was very clean. The employees and service were awesome. Extremely helpful and kind. The pool was definitely a pleasure on hot and humid days/nights. Again, very clean. I will definitely be back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, decent priced room.

This place was amazing for the price. Easy booking, easy communication with the property. Vintage feel but very clean room. Close proximity to the tourist center and the hot tub privacy is very sweet.

Nice, Clean Rooms, Great Staff. The room had been updated as it is a quaint motel with easy access. Nice pool. My friend and I loved staying there.

We have had so much fun here we were in Florida for 10 days so we got a eco room and it had a full kitchen and table with chairs two queen sized beds and a nice bathroom with a tub which was a plus for anyone with little kids. The staff is AMAZING. It was our daughters third birthday and the housekeepers got her a present it is hands down the friendliest staff I have ever been around. The rooms are immaculate and very accommodating. There are not as many bells and whistles as new hotels but I would not stay anywhere else after this experience. I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they have done. I truly can’t stress enough how clean it is. So please people don’t forget to tip your housekeeper they work so hard here 😉 the manager is also a great guy very accommodating and polite. There to help us when we need it. Rooms are very quiet, there has been no noise that I have heard since we have been here. The pool is warm and well lit in the evening they also have a sun bathing deck away from the pool so if you don’t have kids you don’t have to worry about getting wet. Thank you Tarpon Shores Inn for making our vacation great!

Good price in area for clean room. Best choice compare than motel in downtown, it's clean, close to the downtown and really hight costumer quality service 👍 We are family and we stayed there one night, the room was like pictures but without any bad surprised and clean. We forget one suitcase there and the owner was super helpful with us 🏅 You have <5min drive to go in downtown, around 10-15min to access to the Howard Park beach and super close to Walmart, Walgreens and restaurants. Good choice

Motel honored my request for a first floor room in a quiet area away from pool and parking. Room was a bit dated - expected for a place built in the 50s or 60s - but had new carpeting and was very clean. The partition walls must be solid block because I never heard a thing from my two neighboring rooms or from upstairs - very quiet. Didn’t use any of the amenities but they seemed clean and in good order. Even saw the gardener out tidying the landscaping so obviously the owners take care of the place which is appreciated. Some of these older places are almost abandoned but this one is in great shape and the rates are very reasonable. Highly recommend unless you’re looking for a 4 or 5 star place.

We just love it there! Came on vacation and the hotel we originally booked was horrible, smelly. Cops, drug deal and strip club next door. We left and found this hotel. So glad we did! The staff are so friendly. Our room is always taken care of, never have to ask for fresh towels. The pool and jacuzzi area is nice and well kept as well. Over all, very satisfied. The price, couldnt beat it. Will for sure be coming here to stay again in the future.

First let me say, yes the building is old and the rooms are dated. If you spend that little on a hotel you should expect that. I usually stay at hotels that are double the price, but I had a last-minute, emergency two-week trip to FL and couldn't afford to spend a lot of money. I got the room with the full kitchen (so convenient!). When I first walked in, I definitely thought to myself that the decor is straight out of 1980. I also laughed at the actual key instead of a card. But the next thing I noticed is how clean it was. I am a germophobe and usually notice when the housekeepers cut corners. I get super grossed out in hotels. This place was so clean that I felt like I was a guest at someone's house. This is the first time in my life that I actually felt comfortable putting my clothes in hotel drawers. When I got there one of the lights wasn't working. I called the front desk in the morning and was literally on the phone for 30 seconds before the housekeeper was knocking on my door to help. She messed around with it and then I swear not 2 minutes later the maintenance man was at my door and took the light to fix it. This is a family-owned business and the owners live on site. They clearly care a lot about their business. I felt very safe as a woman traveling alone. Every day I came back to my room totally cleaned. I would totally stay here again.

Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and nice pool are. Location is close to local attractions, stores, and restaurants.

Room was clean! Jacuzzi and dry sauna fantastic! I just question why they provide a coffee pot without coffee. I had to wait for lobby to open.

Was very satisfied! Room was clean, staff were very nice, and the pool was awesome!! Anna was very sweet!! They even had the old school key to the room! This hotel is close to everything. Clearwater was only like 30 minutes away and there were alot of hidden treasures like the sponge docks and alot of little beaches that were not over crowded. Will def. Stay again!

We all live in Paradise, I know that I do. Tarpon Shores Inn is the place for me to go and enjoy myself when I need to get away. Whether it's for one day or an Extended Stay of two weeks I have always enjoyed myself. It is such a wonderful place you have to come and visit. The staff is wonderful, 8everything here is done professionally. When you get here it's like getting a free ticket to a Botanical Garden, the trees bushes shrubs and topiaries have been manicured and are wonderful specimens. I have counted 96 but there are many more around the outside of the property. When you get here see how many you can find. It is such a wonderfully fun and enjoyable place to visit. You will be treated like family. And you will meet one person who will always be happier than you, she is the star of the show, she brightens everyone's day, you'll know who she is when you meet her, her name is Teresa. Tell her I said hello, and I will be back soon.

great service and friendly staff. Stayed one night when we ran away for night. Loved Hot Tub. Family had breakfast poolside. Restaurants close by. Has coffee maker and small fridge in room. small sitting area in room also.

Awesome vintage experience hotel, actually metal keys instead of plastic cards and excellent decor. Very clean and we'll maintained, comfy beds, great location. I felt safe and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My favorite hotel on this vacation by far. Oh and super cheap!
